Great video! My First ever Guilty Gear game, and pretty much my First fighting game (love the art style and characters, learning Faust) when i play dojo the whole left side fills up with button combinations + names, how Do i remove That? Dosen't seem like you got it.
"Dash button" 10/10 unrivaled best fighting game of the past 8 centuries. New religion formed around it. World peace achieved.

Can't say the same about mine. The super/special inputs are killing my hand and work about half the time if that. I wish I could map quarter circles to buttons the same way dash can.

@@guillermogarcia4131 - Best looking 2D fighting game out there. - Story is great, but it is convoluted. There is a recap/timeline in game to explain previous stories. - Gameplay is amazing. Each character is very unique. When you main a character, you can play it completely differently than others who main the same character. - Net code is probably one of the best out there. Only complaint is the small-ish roster of 15 at launch. But as I mentioned, each of them is very unique and takes time to master, so the cast feels bigger than it is, simply cause you need a lot of time to fully understand each character’s gimmick and potential.
So happy u mentioned wrist pain. Dash macro makes this game possible for some, long-term

I didn't have any extra colours in the review build so im happy to have them all and play around with em now haha
Plenty more coming for Strive as well naturally, I very much intend this to be THE channel for Strive. I will be streaming again tonight as well, starting around 7pm EST! This time gonna try nagoriyuki to mess around with a lot of his changes. 90% of my beta time was Potemkin, 10% was I-no, so time to spread the love a bit!
Roofle, the king of giving low end players to tools, resources and thought process to get better. Man I love you Roofle. I wish you the best!
Ohhh, so THAT'S why they changed the gatling system. That makes a ton of sense - they want you using all the buttons in neutral. I like it. Lot of great tips here. I took notes. :)
I'm just happy to finally see footage of this game at a decent resolution.

This guy is amazing. I am a former tourney player and think I am at least advance in fighting games and i can easily say this guys content can make even pros either learn or gain an idea from his breakdowns. Keep it up
the fact that dash has a built in command is a blessing because GOD it makes everything easier to do
I've been playing an unhealthy amount LOL This game is crack

What an awesome guide. Coming in with no knowledge of the game and never played guilty gear before, used these tips for 70% win/lose ratio on my first 20 rounds.
That Macro for dashing in amine fighters is an extremely underrated feature. Great work as always

I have my week filled with stuff to do, and the game releases on friday on pc. Having your videos on the background is helping me keeping up the hype :)
Thanks for the video man. For somebody who last played GG back in the early 2000s with X2 and is just now coming back into it, these really help. Keep it up looking forward to more good content
At first look that neon blue Nago skin looks super cool… until you switch to the purple
Nice video as usual! Dash macro is the ultimate feature I didn't know I need in a 2d fighting game. It's sooooo gooood! I'm still mad we didn't get frame data in training mode
Oh my God, why doesn’t every game have dash button?

That's one thing I love about Uniel. The dash button is invaluable.
Been playing this game for a day now, you're videos have helped tremendously. As a new player, thank you so much for taking the time to make these
Been watching you for so long and had no idea I wasn’t subscribed 😞 this really helped me especially with the dash macro. Thank you for all your hard work and helping the FCG!
I use a fighstick and took your advice on the dash macro. Changed my life for drift RCs Thank you for this and all the other videos you've done for GG. As a total newcomer I really appreciate it.
Hey man, just wanna say thanks a ton for this vid. New to fighting games for the most part since I really only have played fighterz and cross tag battle to a state of understanding. Strive really interested me and your vids have been very easy to understand while also very informative. Amazing work.
Damn to be honest man your videos are really helpful went from 3F to 5F with this and the Roman cancel video. Keep em coming dude, love learning this stuff my first guilty gear game and it’s already more enjoyable after watching this.
Im glad youre going all in on this game. Im a gear veteran but it helps a lot to hear this stuff thats maybe basic but new to strive
Ohhh my gawd, I should've freaking got the ultimate edition, Nago looks ridiculous
Snagged myself a copy this morning before work, so excited to get back into a fighter that isn't Melee. Thank you for the great vids, I feel a lot less overwhelmed going in later!

Bro this video was a god sent! Like finding out that forward punch counter is going to save my life against zones...
Thank you for helping me learn this game buddy I appreciate it.
This is game changing right here. I will be playing this Thursday.
Gotta say, having a Dash Macro has mad it so much easier for the disabled. I personally love the access despite people being upset over execution
Bar none. Best GGS beginner content. Coming from someone who loves fighting games but never played the GG series, your content is incredibly informative and helpful.
Very very usefull video bro. The counter combo, i had no clue. Thank you 👍 GG

Love the videos. This is really key for new players like myself
Thanks for the upload!
Thank you for these video's I really enjoy them as soon to be newcomer
These are seriously GREAT tips!
Didn’t know the tech about supers and hard knock down on wall break. Thank you!
You're killing it with the Strive guides, as usual. Thank god the game is almost out on PC, finally.
Cheers. Thanks for your hard work!
Thanks again for the Essential tips guide! Guilty Gear: Strive is the fighting game I want to learn the most at the moment! ^^ I never payed attention to the fact the frame advantage on wall break is different depending on whether you end it off a super or just a regular move until now! :O
Amazing guides as always
Roof u stay on it man. Great upload!

Subscribed. Amazing, amazing video, thank you so much. I just bought gg strive this weekend and chose Nagoriyuki and I love it...dash macro isn't too important for him though 😂 After reading your comment that this channel is planning on being THE channel for gg strive I 100% will be supporting you and your content ❤
Just got the game your videos give way more info then everyone else keep up the great vids roof 👍 👌 😀
Awesome video as always. Your content is extremely informative. Also, maybe you forget to mention, maybe you decided not to overload video with information, maybe you just don't know but biggest counter hits have another useful property. They extends the hitstun of next attack in the combo. Kinda like fatal counters from BlazBlue but only for next attack. It makes some interesting combos like CH 5H>uncharged fuujin>rin and CH 5H>H stroke>6P>S stroke possible.
Loving the Strive content, can't wait to play on Friday!

You've sold this noob on jumping into this game sir so thank you! My only request in the future would be to add the controller input to supplement the auditory explanations which are great already. Thanks for the video and the future wins !
Thank you, me and a friend are gonna do a 1 or 2 week training thing and then we're playing each other so I'm tryna learn the basics before it starts.
Yo that Nago skin is sick!
Was hoping you would make some kind of tutorial and you came through. Thanks alot!
I like tip 1000 😊👍, keep it goin roofle! Thank you!

The first tip is literally my main problem :v Picked up my XRD fav May and got swooshed by others cause I was too defensive xD Which is weird, even as Potemkin I can easly unlock Kowabunga mode! Thanks for great tips! I've learned a lot from your DBFZ stuff, can't wait to watch and learn GG! :D
Looking forward to the content my man! Keep up the good work! :D (also to the viewers, don't forget to give ACPR some love from time to time) ;)
21:21 the way that Nagoriyuki gets on the ground and stand up its absolutely alien rsrsrsraes
Damn this video taught me so much!
The brain fart at 11:00 definitely had nothing to do with Ino’s moan
thanks for the content roof this game is diff

THE BEST CHANNEL
Great video! I'm trying to break into GG with this game, any thoughts on potentially doing a beginner to mid player guide on each character? Basically just good pokes and bnbs to give players the tools to be moderately successful before diving into advance stuff like character specific combos or high execution stuff. I'm most likely going to be giving Nago most of my time in the beginning but would be nice to see other character guides too
@rooflemonger

I am known as a guide maker and ill be following through with that. In the launch window I wanna keep things a little bit general but there will be tons of character specific guides in the future.
