Something you also didn't mention are a few cool traits that Banhammer has: - You can AIM your q to launch yourself more vertically higher, Better if you want to reach high platforms. - Hitting M2 and then E gets you a LOT of shield and guarantees hits on the stunned enemies, Good to use if you suddently get bursted down and are infront of enemies. - E Q and sometimes F can be cancelled by stun abilities such as katana's pull, If going against them you should watch for their cooldowns. - Sometimes it's better to use banhammer as a flanker, He has more than enough DPS to fight against the likes of hyperlaser, Going from the backlines to the frontlines of the enemies not only is unpredictable but perfectly viable in the way how banhammer gets more shields and you get to peel (distract backline enemies) for your team. - A good subspace can make your life a living hell, Execute the tip above and abuse subspace's slow abilities. - Q can be used as a retreat tool as well, if doing the flanker route but there's much CC the best thing you can do is jump in, execute your combo, leave with more shield than you arrived in. - Most optimal way to secure an F execute is doing it right after an M2 with the given stun.

When I realised you can aim with the Q move. I was flying around the map every second specifically on conquer maps. I would fly from the spawn to the point in like a second meaning it was like the enemy would kill me and I immediately came back it was the funniest thing ever.

When playing as BanHammer and using the Phinisher I like to say "YOU'RE BANNED FROM THE STREAM!" as I press F. Makes for funny moments. I remember this one time, I was in a 1v1 with my friend (They were Scyth), and I lunged at them while they were running away and just before the round ended i got a perfect screenshot of BanHammer raising his hammer as he's about to slam Scyth while Scyth runs away💀 Edit: This happened today-

@@mjserrano32 from my experience, scythe is a poor counter to hambanner because her ranged attacks are relatively short, (she also works better as a melee phighter since her scythe is WAY more powerful than her rifle)

Another tip: if you see a friendly sub phinisher, use your phinisher into it, I have killed entire teams this way

That phinisher part was fucking crazy bro i got goosebumps

Something you didn't mention is that he can increase his shield above the maximum using the shield regen abilities, up to a maximum of 250. Also banhammer is very fun to use with an assassin playstyle, since if you are on low health there isn't much scarier than a big guy with a hammer flying directly at you.

BTW every time i get paired with a katana as a ban hammer, I like to call it the banana combo ban+(kat)ana

So THIS is how I can ban hammer! I go up my friend in 1v1s and they use Ban Hammer and until now I had no idea how to counter or use Ban Hammer at all! No more screeches of pure raw terror when they pull out the hammer, tysm! =D

YES NEW HOW TO USE VIDEO!! the editing in these are awesome, also in addition to chasing , if you’re really close but just out of reach of someone cause ban is slow as hell use E to propel yourself forward and hit whoever you’re chasing. and if you’re in a map with closed walls (like the bowling alley) then use your q when people are against walls or in corners, it cancels the move and hits down

very good video though personally i feel like it's better to use the finisher when you know for a fact someone is below half health cus if you waste the finisher then you don't get to chain it 5 times this dude's my favorite, squishing people with oversized weapons is the pinnacle of gaming

Uploaded right on time, right as I start to get into the game. I've been having fun with Hammer alongside some of the other characters. So far I've found that his leaping ability is very effective at jumpscaring the opponent, disorienting them and disrupting whatever strategy they had going and force them to focus on me who is now constantly gaining shield. Sometimes I don't even need to kill with it. Sometimes I use it to jumpscare a backline character or healer and force them to reposition and stop pressuring the team, then I head back to the fight to continue supporting my allies.

This is a helpful video. A tip that didnt show up in the video is that enemy vine sprouts give you shield when you hit them with e or m2, similar to how hitting them with sword grants him shield, meaing if your fighting near them, it might be a good idea to use them for your shield in a pinch

Notes in his gameplay- When he first chases after the Medkit, he only uses his E. His shield is already a good number. In a crowd, he uses both secondary and E despite having good shields. In his first death, he misses his E. (Maybe a Q could have saved it?) Q is overall disadvantageous in the bread bank. Shortly after Chaos, he find a target and locks on. After he gets jumped by a clone and a sword (very bad) , he uses his Q. It’s good to be around a friendly boombox. After the shield dissipates, he attempts a kill despite being in low stats (honestly justified) When he fights the marshmallow again, he quickly goes for the execution. When jumpscaring an singular enemy, he uses his secondary, When fighting a crowd, he uses a E. I’ve never saw him chase after a ranged in the footage. Respect for keeping the objective. (Fun fact: After doing his idle in the choose menu, he will laugh)

Something I do with Banhammer is whenever I'm in a capture game I will just abuse the jump to get to the point almost immediately letting me focus on getting points for my team and helping everyone win

By hitting the enemy, the E lasts longer. If it doesn't, it works like the tap variation.

When i first played this game i picked banhammer because he looked like he could stun alot and is very tanky although very laggy i scored second prob because i have some expeirence on wether to engage or disengage on some 5v5 mobile games as the tank got 5/1/8 althought i think i only manage to get a kill with his phinisher

Here EVERY tips I know: 1. Use Q at 45 degrees, it the furthest you can go with Q. 2. Press M1 with Q below 30 degrees allow you to dash forward without the endlag of the attack allow you to chase more effectively, 3. Do not undersimate M1, it powerful but use wisely. 4. Chain F with M2. 5. Be yourself, you are a chaos maker.

But seriously tips 1 and 2 I used physics and roblox physics to caculates (have done tests) 45 degrees is the perfect degree for the further throw, example if you throwing balls or anything experts would try to make it go at 45 degrees. remaining momentum after you used q and cancel it with m1 will cause you to dash forward, abit hard to control. but FRICKING PERFECT FOR SHURIKENS.

I have a question (not related to the video, but since you probably know the answer), how do you know if a Phighter or any other character is a tank? (Ik it's HP/shield related) And also, how do you know if someone's a glass cannon?

In my eyes, it’s probably how their kit works. For example, Biograft can be potentially a glass cannon due to high damage but no healing. Banhammer is also a glass cannon too in my opinion, due to him having high damage but no natural shield regen (Passive) I’d consider Katana and Boombox to be somewhat tanky imo. Hope this helps!

@@Darkthunder0122 banhammer being a glass cannon doesn't really make sense because his abilities actively increase his survivability. glass cannons are supposed to have terrible survivability like biograft dying by getting sneezed on.

@@Darkthunder0122 yeah, he'll explode if he misses those but that's mostly your fault if you do, plus that doesn't really make him a glass cannon since he still does have the 2nd highest hp pool which lets him eat tons of hits which is unlike the glass cannon archetype. only reason he'd die quickly is because hes a massive target if he's left out in the open.

Honestly, my problem with playing literally any phighting character is my DOGWATER WIFI, I LAG EVERY GOOD MOVE I MAKE AND I KEEP DYING BECAUSE OF IT. it's frustrates me.
