Guilt is a Sickness of the Soul | Nietzsche & Freud
This video explores the impact of guilt on civilization and how it leads to resentment or nihilism.
Our society is plagued by an illness that is as old as civilization itself. This sickness has grown worse over the course of civilization and has reached an all time high in the modern world. We call this sickness guilt which results from a bad conscience.

You have an excellent channel. I love this content thank you
so good thank you
A lot of eastern religions reference concepts such as acceptance and not labeling oneself. To combat these problems in the first place rather than trying to create a scapegoat or belief that one must attain absolution.
Beautiful content.
What a sobering dose of education
Wow.. you can see these instincts when you break morals and embrace it.
I don't have it for now but other's should..a lot of it...I can't wish good things to bad people...
I like your channel.
I see no evidence that conscience is invented but it’s rather innate.

What evidence do you see for that?

@@TheMachiavellians same evidence I see humans have 10 fingers & toes. Humans through all cultures have these traits and I believe neuroscience & evo-biology have largely analyzed where such things come from, emotions etc… the structure of mind etc…. The ancient philosophers didn’t have access to neuroscience and thus their view of such things isn’t well informed like modern views. Any reference to “god” is outdated beyond mythology which is neurological in its form anyway.

8:00 I'm going to have to disagree with this point. The world would be better off without humans, that's not nihilism, its common sense. The wild kingdom would never create the toxic environment that we humans have created and have no will to stop. I give credit to the controllers who have masterfully orchestrated the whole mess and I blame we the people for letting them get away with it. But, that's just me, you be you...

How is that common sense thinking the world will be better without humans. You are basically giving up your will to survive. That's the perfect example of niahlism.
