My favs by him are Pan's Labyrinth, The Shape of Water, and Hellboy. And I know this isn't a film, but I'm also partial to his Netflix series Cabinet of Curiosities, one episode in particular. The first one tbh.😅lol.

Crimson peak is a masterpiece that I'm sure will be super influential to filmmakers in the future. It's my favorite del toro film, probably some of the best production design ever! . Close second is pans labrynth. Though I go back and forth between that and the sheer joy that is monsters fighting robots(pacrim). Thanks for putting this up.

May you elaborate? I didn't enjoy it. It was slow and not so engaging for me. I prefer his more action-oriented movies.
Crimson Peak is my favorite movie of all time! Its a gothic romance masterpiece that is specifically made for lovers of the gothic genre. The more you adore the genre, the more you appreciate what Del Toro was doing with the film. I cannot wait for his Frankenstein!!!

I took some time to decide about my favourite, but I can't. I love all of them. All the stories are amazing, yet Crimson Peak has a bonus (Tom Hiddleston) :)

I love Guillermo.
I love how that back door is always open. My mother would say it's laziness. But I already think it's a metaphor about you as an interviewer. Always open to the interviewee.
