A rather enjoyable Kaineng Overlook challenge mode I was in. Heal Chronomancer feels great on this fight as a lot of damage comes in telegraphed bursts so you can just time mantra charges for when you've just taken the damage, making the fight rather chill in my opinion.
The frames seem to be low for some reason, not sure why. It might just be me noticing it but if you do too, I do apologise for the choppiness.
Analysis ══════════════════
For Kaineng Overlook challenge mode, your role as the healer is to provide stability for the cone slash. In normal mode this has an orange telegraph, but to increase complexity, challenge mode does not have this visual cue. Instead, what you do is provide stability for this slash as this is the ONLY way you can mitigate it. It cannot be aegis'd or dodged like it can in normal mode. You can run behind Li as eventually he locks himself into the location where he is going to do the slash, but this is ONLY when he does this in the middle.
I was handling this by using Distortion (f4) and the preparation of Mantra of Concentration. During the 66 to 33% and 33% to 0% phase, he alternates between green circles (stand behind him) and orange circles. During this time, you need to either use Distortion or prepare your Mantra of Concentration, as this is longer lasting stability. I forgot to consume charges a lot in this fight, but luckily I always had my Distortion available to cover stability needs.
Also as the healer, you are undergoing the role of kiting the Sniper's 3-shot attack. This does a lot more damage in challenge mode and if anyone is within the radius of the shot, it will ricochet and instantly kill them, and cause the Sniper to fire an extra shot.
It is important to get to your chosen side to kite this attack before this mechanic happens, which is after the Mech Rider's push back attack (greens & oranges appear at the same time) and around mid way through the numbers attack (when the Mech Rider charges at players).
The Sniper must be crowd controlled in challenge mode too. Her kill shot is a 1 shot kill, but an advantage to Chronomancer is that you can easily solo cc this, which is what I did. You can bring a lot of your utility and healing through your weapons and kit, so you have a free utility slot on this fight, letting you bring more than ample crowd control.
