I recently learned I’m allergic to most preservatives in cosmetics. Although relieving to have solutions for health issues, I felt discouraged that now there are very limited makeup options for me. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge about Westman Atelier in today’s video today, Michele! I feel like a more diffused blush placement (like you did with the tinted highlighter) and using bronzer on the high points of the face instead of the hollows is a much fresher, more modern look than the sort of “stripes” of highlight then blush then bronzer. Looks much more seamless and natural, it's a wonderful look on you 😉

Thank you, Michele! This was outstanding and so very helpful. No matter how many WA videos I’ve watched, I still learn from you. And like you, I’m a bit obsessed with this line, beginning with the Petal blush I bought at Barney’s on Madison Avenue. Since then I’ve gradually bought their brushes (ooh-la-la) and cleaned out my makeup drawer, replacing almost everything with WA. I don’t use bronzer, lip gloss or powder, but now everything else but eyeliner which WA doesn't yet make (I use Chantecaille) and mascara (L’Oreal dark brown for a gazillion years) is by WA. This line is not only gorgeous, chic and modern, it’s also clean, something my dry, sensitive and reactive 60+ year-old skin adores. I know it’s pricey, but if it’s all I have and need, it actually saves me money because I no longer buy products that I hardly ever use. By the way, I think it’s the Mimi blush (a crazy beautiful color) that’s current out of stock is coming back, not the Parla Lit Up which is exquisite but alas, limited edition.

I currently have all of her products except the mascara, one of the bronzers, one of the contours and her brushes. I love her products and after watching this video, will be picking up the brushes. A few days ago, received my first WA product-and a sample card with petal, lit, and biscuit. I’ve fallen head over heels for this brand. Everything felt great on my skin and looked so natural. Great thorough video and you looked beautiful. Did want to know if the Sante is sparkly because I gave away the pink one because I thought it was too glittery. I do agree the Creme looked brighter on you.

This video is incredible - I invest in Westman Atelier products because they are amazing but very expensive. So I consider the products I purchase very carefully but I love the product and packaging (it is so great to take with you on to go). Your explanation of each product is just great and the brushes that you would use. Thank you so much! Will re-watch each time that I consider a product but for now will invest in the brushes :)

Thank you, Michele! I love all things WA. It’s curious she said that about no powder under the eyes. A lot of her videos show her applying the bronzer there and I use it that way too. Maybe the bronzer falls under a different category ☺️ I never use powder because I feel like it’s too drying, but the new pressed powder is amazing and pore minimizing, not drying at all! Appreciate you!

Thanks for this comprehensive review! Over the past 2 years I have stopped using all other foundations, except this one, and have gotten my sisters, daughter, and stepmother using it too. I had the same experience with the bronzer, it went to hard pan almost immediately. When I contacted customer service to replace or refund, the CSA assured me it was "fine." I did use it for several months before finally tossing it, but I won't buy again. The mascara was thick and clumpy right out of the box, and after 3 weeks was too dry to use. Other than that, I love all the products. I also struggled to find the right foundation shade. #2 is a little too light, and #3 is a little too yellow. When I used the "shade finder" it pointed me to #5 and even #6, both of which were way too dark. I was able to visit a WA counter in NY, though, and the MUA told me the problem was the contour stick! She tried Truffle on me, and that was just the right touch of warmth.

I love your makeup today! So Spring/Summer. I cannot wait to receive my powders.

Love this! Thanks for the info. I know you’ve mentioned that you have drier skin and live in a dry climate, but I would love a video on luxury makeup for hot humid environments. I get so frustrated with makeup in the summer that I tend to just skip it. Would love some tips for light but effective makeup that won’t melt off my face or feel “sweaty.”

Thank you, Michele. I loved the thoroughness of this video. I have been using a number of WA products since their launch a few years ago and have been loving them. I’ve also been adding products from VBB and have constantly compared both the brands for their cheek and eye products. I like WA for its cheek products and VBB for its eye products. Would you consider doing a video comparing some of the common products from both the brands? Thanks❤️

Thanks for your review. I've been using this line for several months. I also use LIT under the foundation and Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Base/Moisturizer/Primer. I think both give the foundation sticks more "slip".

Thank you for the WA video. I have the same make up aesthetic as you! The WA products are pricey but for those of us with rosacea and very sensitive skin they have been a godsend!

Love this exploration of WA! Your eyes in this are so subtle and lovely. Just what I think an everyday eye should be. Fresh and clean and glowy. The lip compacts are genius and when I saw them at her BG's makeup counter I was in love. Finally a multi lip compact ! And you must try her amazing lip brush if you have not already. It's really special. The shape is tapered and flat on top so you can actually line your lips with the product before you fill in. Perfection!

I love the brand and I really love the foundation stick. I have trouble finding a shade. Shades I and II are way too yellow for me. I will have to try shade .5 and .0 though they will probably be too light but I may be able to finesse it with bronzer. The blush sticks are my go-to cream bronzer and the cream bronzer is a dream. Great video.

I totally luv this line in every way but the price. I have multiple colors in the blush sticks, the highlight sticks and the contour sticks. The brushes are so soft and make application a dream. Look forward to adding more to my collection

Thanks to you I bought her stick foundation and I love it!! Not so much a fan of her blush/bronzer on my face but yeah as an oily girl I knew cream products were gonna be a gamble xD but I use them as eye makeup and it works perfectly so I love it!!

If you want to try “cream” products but are more oily I would recommend the MAC Glow Play blushes and the Georgio Armani Neo Nude Melting Blushes as well as the new Charlotte Tilbury cream bronzers.

I am fair and cool toned and I use the contour stick as a bronzer and it is the perfect bronzer color for me. I also own all the blush sticks and when people ask if I can recommend one blush, this is it. My favorite cream blush.

I really love WA products those sticks are amazing!! I have truly fallen in LOVE with them and they are so summer sweet!!

I love Westman Atelier but I have been frustrated trying to find a shade match for my more neutral skin. I have been thinking about trying the lighter, more neutral shades as well. WA has definitely reformulated the butter bronzer. I had the original one which was way more pigmented and a different texture. My compact broke and I repurchased. The newer version is much more subtle and easier to control. So excited to try the new powder. I feel like it is the one product she was really missing in the line. I need a little bit to set and it was a struggle to find a powder that worked well with the rest of the products. Thanks so much for the overview!

Thank you, Michele, for this wonderful tutorial. I have so many Westman Atelier products, but have been a little unsure if I was using them correctly. Gucci's demonstration was great, but for some reason I could not see up close that well. I am going to purchase a couple more products to complete my collection. Additionally, I love peachy-orangey lipsticks as you do, so I hope Gucci will consider doing a lip suede in the peachy-orangey colors. The red and nude suedes are beautiful. It is time for another lip suede don't you think?😊

OMG, I’ll be anxiously waiting for you to try the other foundation shades, I use you as reference, and agree that 1 is too yellow. Hope 0.5 is more neutral.

Agree - this powder is sublime. What a great line she has created. My sole favorite product is peau de rose. I absolutely love it and I love, love, love the lip suedes, highlight sticks...on and on. The only things I did not prefer are the mascara and the foundation which got trumped by Lisa and Wayne.

I really love their foundation and definitely gonna buy the powder based on your review, Michele. But to be honest- some of the products are also out there better and cheaper from other brands, like the bronzer was a bit of a disappointment to me. I think if you want to spend the money, go for it, but not every product is like a must have. Also amazing review - they should have definitely given you their products for free 🤩😄❤️

Oooh, I definitely need your burn treatment tips; somehow I burned a patch on my forehead similar in size to yours, with a hot flat iron. I lost several layers of skin and used a colloid bandaid for a week, but I still have an angry red spot that is like a divot on my forehead. OW. Thankfully my Westman Atelier Vital Skin stick covers it up, and I feel good about putting Gucci's products on my sensitive skin.

I love the WA products too but had the same issue with Foundation Sticks- couldn’t get a good cool match and they dragged upon application. Now I use 0 and 2 but I may go for the .5 also ( didn’t know it existed). You will like the 0, it’s definitely cools things down. Thanks for the tip about using Lit underneath. I was just using a rich moisturizer under the stick but it was absorbed so quickly into my dry and aging skin.

Thank you for this! The only product I didn't care for was the lipgloss. Not my kind of texture...too sticky. And I wish the powder came in a neutral beigey color kind of like Charlotte Tilbury's Fair-the creme looks so yellow!

Wonderful, thank you, and wondering do you wash and clean your brushes after each application, ie. Everyday? Just went into the city yesterday and purchased the foundation stick, poppet blush and lippie, beautiful products, put on this morning. After watching your, this upload, didn’t realise the powders minimise pores, so will get that and brush next. Thank you & merry Christmas 😊

The WA compact packaging is so gorgeous. The Hermes packaging should be this good for the price.

Hello!! Have you tried the Contour Stick in Truffle as a cream bronzer? It works great because it’s warmer than biscuit.
