Guide to Understanding Steel | Materials Talk Series

Ғылым және технология

In this video, we walk you through a high-level understanding of steel, and the four major types designated by the American Iron and Steel Institute. To simplify your understanding we are going to use the acronym CAST. Links below to skip to specific steels:
Carbon Steel: 0:31
Alloy Steel: 2:22
Stainless Steel: 3:28
Tool Steel: 4:25
As this is intended to be high-level, look out for future videos where we dive deeper into the individual types.

If you make this, I shall share it with my staff and friends and shall ask them to show it on their online classes. Thanks in advance.
