@legionnaireGenerals Hello, I have a small issue in my playing generals zero hour online via game ranger, i join any room and start the game and join the lobby without any issue but once i am in the lobby screen where i can put my location and team... i cannot press anything it does not show anything on my screen yet on my friend's screens it shows where i put my location, team, color... and i cannot even press accept and if they change the map i can not see it unless i press back then join again it changes but yet i can not press anything on it. Kindly if you have any solutions for this issue it would be nice.

i tried to play serious sam 2 with someone and is says waiting for host and it doesn't run the game what should i do?

trying to play this with my dad but non of my games i have downloaded are loading onto the game ranger? is there a way to force update from what i see it auto updates. it keeps telling me to find the file in my pc to force start it but when i click on the file it wants still nothing.

Hello there Once i try to join online games ( with C&C online i mean not gameranger) with gentool and everything is okay concerning version of the game etc THis genpatch didn't run with win7 as operating system "32 bits" So is there an other bersion for 32 bits please also when i try to join online, there's the dismatch disconnection come after 2 mins of the starting the game online, even i'm hosting or someone is joining my game Any help please ?

@Legionnaire Generals Regarding what was mentioned about italic names and not being able to join. I tried the fix that you mentioned, however it didn't work (in Gen patcher). Any ideas how to fix that?

I play zero hour woth my friends using radmin since we cant solve the italic problem... the issue is, when we about to reach climac😂 on the game,the game detect some mismatch and..end the game prematurely... any suggestion how to avoid mismatch? This issue haunted us a lot..

When I try to join my friend or he tries to join me, we get "Connection Timed Out". His game says "Invalid Game Install - No Online Access" at the bottom left of the screen when it launches... do you know what it causing that? How do I fix it?

Awesome setup guide. One problem... "launch the game in a window when playing via gamerranger" acts like its turning on, but always stays off.

u can manually do it if it doesn't want to work. u can do this by selecting the 'generals.exe' in the 'launcher' folder in the game's directory. if u are using Steam, make sure u traverse through the 'GameRanger Game Location' shortcut at least once. you'll see it in your game directory :)

You must disable all antivirus before downloading and running genpatcher

Game Ranger doesn't recognize my Steam version of Generals or Zero Hour. When I try to add them to Game Ranger, it says 'invalid selection', even though I'm selecting the .exe for Generals/Zero Hour.

yeah this issue should have been fixed with v2.07a, but i'll release v2.07b later today (probably in a few hours). v2.07b is going to use an enhanced way of activating GameRanger, so it could be taht it will fix your problem. :) if u want, join the Discord now, and i'll send u the current test version

I tried installing Gameranger but it wouldn't even start downloading or installing at all. It keep saying, "There was no response after contacting the Gameranger server." Make sure the time in your system is correct. Otherwise, try using a VPN like Windscribe.

Game Ranger doesn't work, "No response from game ranger" always pops up. Some guy commented the "solution" of just running the game once, didn't work.

Unfortunately we had exactly the same problem even playing with LAN cables

when you install CC with steam, gameranger won't detect CC. And when I try to add it manually it says "invalid Selection"

Connection time out problem. I give up playing on revora so, I want switch off network optimization but that doesn't switched off When ever I open Gen patcher, that button is active. switch off your anti-virus, then download genpatcher again, then run it. u should be able to switch it off without any problems. GenPatcher keeps track of the optimizations it performed, and it simply undoes them. unless u manually did anything with firewalls or network settings, everything should work fine :)

Cool video Legionnaire, but I have a problem. Experienced this playing with my brother and when my brother's friend and him were playing. Few seconds into the game, it either times out or crashes. There were cases that the game crashed for both parties, others were timed out. We all have the Ultimate collection copy from EA play and we'd like to really play the game badly. My operating system is Windows 11 while my brother's friend and him are Windows 10. Hope you can help me with this. P.S. I'm out of options already.

don't play in window mode. play in regular full screen. you're probably in borderless window mode
