Looks like a BEAUTIFUL HOTEL , just like a lot of others I have seen before. Definitely needs some gentle Elvis styling to make it worth while staying there. I love him so. since I was his age when he first started.I was at Graceland two years ago. My trip of my lifetime. A long trip from Calgary ab.Canada but well worth it. Love to go again God willing.

Absolutely fantastic. Look out The White House - Graceland is going to give you a run for your money for the amount of visitors. This project will be a major asset to Elvis' Legacy and his millions of fans worldwide.

Wow! This is Beautiful! However, Wonder what "Elvis" would think about the cost of staying at "The Guest House" at Graceland. I have same thoughts as leon's Wilson-mann? Guess she hit it on the head with her comment.

why does the heartbreak hotel have to be demolished ? Can it not be a overflow hotel? On the radio they said that heartbreak hotel was old and it was not there when Elvis was alive, but it was heartbreak hotel located on lonely St. built from Elvis's song . I know it needed a little improvement but It was still nice the last time I was there and I wanted to stay there again but unfortunately I wont be able to. I am sure there is other people that loved the heartbreak hotel and would love to stay there again

The 'Heartbreak Hotel' was built solely for Elvis fans. Non-fans would not stay there. However, the minimalist Elvis styling at 'The Guest House' will attract people from all walks of life including those who do not wish to visit Graceland. Of course, most will. Should be a great success.

Can't wait to see the prices on the rooms,and what do Elvis' ''poor Relations'' fans do ? Where do we stay ? They keep talking about how much Elvis would love this, and I'm sure he would,but he wouldn't like the prices he knew many of his fans could not afford ! And where are the pictures of Elvis ? I understand this hotel is going to cater to all of Memphis, not just us Elvis fans, but considering it's title, I think Elvis should be front and center. Looks like they are trying to compete with the famous 'Peabody Hotel'. Maybe they could have Hound Dogs roaming the lobby instead of Ducks.

Prices off season after the grand opening will start at $160 a night. Heartbreak is in tough shape. I'd pay thirty bucks more a night for this place. Heartbreak only had two pictures of Elvis above the beds. This is gonna be awesome.

Well I know that $160 a night isn't all that much any more, but the average fan will need to scrimp to save enough for a week's stay, not to mention all the other prices incurred to visit Elvis' home and see everything that meant something to him. I'm just saying, E.P.E. is going to make a killing on this little venture.

I'm staying there the Sunday night of opening weekend. The total price including taxes is $228 and that includes a "breakfast package".....Yes, it's a lot and I don't normally stay in super expensive hotels, but often pay close to $100 a night when traveling at much less fancy places. I've stayed once at the Heartbreak a few years ago and have stayed at the Days Inn several times....there are many other places to stay in the area I believe but since I was going to be in Memphis that weekend anyway, I am excited that I will be able to stay there....probably never have another chance, so gonna soak it all in!!

I think Elvis would like the look of the hotel BUT I think he would turn in his grave if he knew how much his fans are going to have to pay,. As nice as it is it is way over the top for the average Elvis fan, Its nothing to do with Elvis anymore, its a business and the B all and end all.

One has to move with the times and changes in music. I suspect many people staying at The Guest House will not be Elvis fans but could be visiting Memphis on business or other recreational pursuits including attending concerts or football games. Taking everything into account it makes good business sense to invest in property.

I look at this and it is beautiful, BUT something is missing. When I used to look at the Heartbreak before I went there it was Elvis, however, as beautiful as this place is it seems too clinical and just like any other posh hotel. Obviously I have not seen it other than on here but give me the Heartbreak anytime.

It looks lovely but where are the photos of Elvis? surely a hotel next to Graceland which attracts fans should have more reference to Elvis in it.

Today's discerning traveller does not wish to be surrounded by photographs of Elvis with his music being piped throughout all rooms. It must be remembered that not everyone is an Elvis fan and that many will just wish to visit Memphis on business or to see many of the other famous landmarks. I have been an Elvis fan since 1956 but if I were a businessman I would definitely go for a hotel like The Guest House.

How much is to live in that hotel?

Of course, it's about MONEY, however, I think it's a GREAT idea and would LOVE to go there, too expensive for me more than likely, but anyone who goes is very LUCKY in my opinion-ENJOY-I really enjoyed watching this video anyway !!!!!

I didn't hear or see any mention of invalids being catered for? I couldn't stay in this hotel without it being wheelchair friendly and grab rails in the bathroom. Have you thought of that side of things. I know Elvis would have done

Im loving the concept, but if you didnt get told its is ELVIS', you sure wouldnt figure it out any time soon. Why no Elvis music in the backrground?? In fact, you cant get those goosebumps ya always get when you feel Elvis' presence,...because you dont!! What about that shows one single relationship to Elvis? No Posters, memorabilia, photos!! Pretty generic looking. Elvis has definitely left that building!

Give them time, its still a work in progress. But it has to be done now that its Elvis week, and maybe there is Elvis background music. Not that it matters to me.. Ill never be able to afford it.

I don't know what else they have done to it now, but they show the staircase that is a replica of Graceland's & light fixtures with his initials. I am sure they gave done more after it is finished.

i'm sorry but my opinion this corporation is using Elvis' name to make money,
