How did you like using the IPad with John Stamos being the tour guide?

Paul O'Neal That's an interesting question. I too, have wondered what people are thinking about that. While Stamos is known for being a big Elvis fan, he's been out of the limelight for a while now, and I've always gotten the impression that most people think of him as a big cheeseball who makes a joke of Elvis. Don't know about other Elvis fans, but I personally thinks it's a little tacky that they use him for a tour guide. I wonder if Jerry Schilling was trying to get him some work, since he played with the Beach Boys for awhile.

looks like a nice hotel - when we go there, we might have to consider it if it is moderately priced! thanks for the great tour and review!

@@ThomasEverAfter i would have to say that doesn't sound reasonable to me. I think you can stay at some of the Disney World themed hotels for around that price. When you compare them to what The Guesthouse has to offer, it seems like the Guesthouse is coming up short in a big way.

most of the bedrooms have a blue canopy over the bed,,so i dont know what room she stayed in

Hi Rebecca! They unfortunately won't let you FILM the tour but they do let you take photos. If you would like to see a compilation of photos with a narration, I would be happy to start putting that together for you! We are in the middle of a move right now but will do that soon if you're interested :)

Enjoyed watching!!! Glad to see you came to my hometown yes the hotel is not in the best part of town are used to be a great part of town but not anymore... but it's still fun to go to Graceland. I hope you and your husband are OK you know there was a breakout of legionnaires disease at that hotel I don't know if that's the reason why the pool was closed but anyway.. i'm glad you got to come and enjoy Graceland

LaCretia Taylor yes, we enjoyed the visit very much! Yes, it happened right before we arrived. We heard about the legionnaires being the reason but I didn't want to mention in the video. Is the pool still closed now?

Happily Ever After - Daphne Ann I don't know if the pool is still closed but I know they're still doing a cleanup at that resort. I'm not even for sure if it's open for people to come and stay or not. I imagine that they have gotten things reopened by now because I haven't heard anything on the news our local news lately about it. But I'm so glad you guys are OK

That hotel reminds me very little of Elvis and looks a lot more like a big trendy corporate hotel for conventioneers. The fact that a case of legionnaires disease broke out there somehow seems appropriate, and just confirms my feelings about the place being a cold corporate place, as opposed to the warmth that Graceland exudes. I certainly wish nothing bad on Elvis fans. I think the investors only wanted to put in touches of Elvis that weren't too obvious, so they could rake in the money appealing to conventioneers and corporate types. Hopefully everyone recovered and is okay now, it makes me think the place isn't being run properly.

Aside from the grand staircase in the lobby, I think this looks more like Vegas Elvis than Graceland Elvis. At least the food sounds Southern Style, but it sounds very expensive just for breakfast. I think the outside lounge and pool area looks very cold and kind of depressing. They managed to throw in some flower bushes, but . . .? The main thing I keep hearing about this place on KZread, is that you don't get much bang for your buck. Everything very expensive and they charge for everything, but nothing very out of the ordinary to celebrate for it. Judging by the sign for the Martinis and Buckets of Beer, they're hoping to get everyone too drunk to notice. Apparently, the bars were jumping, but then Memphis has always been a partying town. Beale Street didn't get famous for nothing.

Breakfast was WAY overpriced but the hotel was quite beautiful. The grounds definitely were lacking some...it looked like the had JUST planted the flowerbeds and they weren't filled in yet. And yes, the pool was closed while we were there due to Legionnaires. They didn't want to tell me so they gave me the breakfast voucher and then I googled to find out why. Still worth a one-time, short-stay to check it out!

@jimmycasey6400 when we were there in 2017, we felt it was great value for the cost! I can't speak to what it's like 5 years later, but we really did enjoy it very much.

I was at the Graceland hotel to speak at the autism awareness convention in I saw exactly why I walked in the parking lot to the Graceland Hotel LOL
