The Tommy Edison Experience how do you do things like scratch mosquito bites or pop pimples without harming yourself? I have tried to pop acne without a mirror but it always ends up a bloody mess. How do you avoid over scratching mosquito bites because if I'm not paying attention, I'll have a layer of skin gone. I'll look down at what I've been scratching and realized that it'll hurt later, but it didn't hurt when I was scratching it. Also, what's your concept of mirrors?

Yeah tbf.. I watched the last one and realised that there were some very good ones aswell. Other than that, it's awesome to see fans sending stuff that we/Tommy have talked about. Like not knowing how certain object "look like" because they're to big and therefore he can't feel the entire thing.. so instead they send him 3D made objects like a car etc. which then helps him visualize how the object looks like, I love that so much :)

What a beautiful man, who sheds light on the most unexpected things.

_At least the ones I've heard of,_ you need to get 3D scanned. It's expensive, since between the 3D scanning and the good quality 3D printer, manual smoothening, and hand-painting, it takes a lot of resources to do well. I don't know if it's a couple hundred or a couple thousand dollars, but either way it's really pricey.

Adam Děkan don't remember how much they charged for the one I'm talking about but it wasn't thousands. just remember it would require you to upload a front view picture and a side view of your face and they would work off of that, I'll see if I find that website.

I think another thing that could work even better, is Tommy trying a VR headset (ex. GearVR/Rift). At first that might sound ridiculously absurd, however with the right application, he'd be able to experience truly 3D audio, which has been unavailable to everyone until VR headsets came along (even though it could have been done much earlier than the visual headsets). That said, I'm not sure if there are any viable experiences that would showcase that effect well enough to be worth it. There are other audio experiences that one can do though, such as *Papa Sangre,* an audio-only game that runs on Apple devices.

I feel like the human brain is so trained to see faces in everything, even the most simplified version of them, so with things like the facial profile or the shark there wasn't a ton of detail needed for us to understand it, whereas tommy wouldn't think that you can just gloss over the most detailed part of the human body like that. Or at least that's my idea. I thought this was really cool.

I have a question, are papers with Braille marked in any way to indicate which way is the right side up? Or do you just start reading the text to figure out if it isn't upside down?

google images for "braille alphabet", and have a look at them, very few letters can be turned upside down to form new letters. R turns into W and vice versa (obviously), X remains X, T remains T, thats it really, probably Mr Louis Braille factored this in when creating/refining the system.

This really warms my heart! I think it's so awesome that there are people willing to make and send you things to explain concepts that only a sighted person could normally fathom, such as drawing a 3D object in 2D. There are some good people left in this world. I think it's so important that whenever possible we find ways to help you understand something from a sighted perspective while you teach us so much about your blind world and how you view and experience it! This is my favorite video so far!
