OOHH THAT'S WHAT THE PUNCHLINE WAS?? I had no idea! I don't speak Korean so I had to watch with subtitles. From what I understood and read, the guy was betting on the place they had their first kiss. So I thought that when he referred to Hyojin Park, that was where they had their kiss. So then that transformed into John betting on the place that traumatized him the most. That's on me, but translation and cultural errors are bound to happen when you cross 2 very distinct pieces of media 😅
