With 6600 I have concluded that I don't suck at this particular quiz, I'm just too damned old! I either never heard of the song and/or the group or both, I never saw the movie (though I did get 2 or 3 from the soundtrack), and one clip I didn't recognize, but knew the song AND the group when revealed😁. As I recall, it was in the 80s that I zoned out on music. Guess I'll try other quizzes to see if I can find my wheelhouse...doo-wopp, 50s, 60s, 70s, Motown, British Invasion, girl groups, some big bands.

Only one song was wrong, this particular version of "La Bamba" was NOT Ritchie Valens (though it is his song), but instead from the movie, by Los Lobos, who performed it in the movie

Though Valens first made it widely popular, it’s not “his song”. La Bamba is an old Veracruz folk song, first recorded in the 1930’s. It was used in a Mexican presidential campaign and multiple movie soundtracks before Valens recorded it.

Thank you so much for making these! It's a favorite date night game for my partner and I and we always have tons of fun playing together. He's a Gen X music nerd so he trounces me just about every time, but between the two of us we usually manage to get almost all of them and it's always a great time. I hope soon you make a board with a little more 2000s music so this millennial can show off a little, lol. Thank you again for all the fun and for putting so much time into making these!

😁 I was just jotting down category ideas for next week's quiz and one is 'After 'Y2K' so good chance you'll get at least five 2000s questions next week! That's awesome that you guys are enjoying the games on date night. Love to hear it!

This was a good one! Lots of songs i love to listen to. I only got one on the rhyming category. I never saw the movie Dazed and Confused, but the songs in the category were songs i've heard before....i'm gonna buy that soundtrack!!😜

Really bad at this game I’ve listened to songs over and over growing up especially old rock unless it’s police, talking heads or tragically hip I have a 90% chance of forgetting the name despite knowing the tune and sometimes even the band
