Someone said Michael Caine was so good in The Muppet Christmas Carol, because he treated the Muppets as fellow actors. And Tim Curry was so good in Muppet Treasure Island because he considered himself just another Muppet.

Why is The Muppet Christmas Carol the best adaptation of A Christmas Carol? For me? The dichotomy. On one hand, you have the Muppets and all of the zany antics and songs that that entails. On the other hand, you have Sir Michael Caine, one of the greatest actors ever, playing Ebeneezer Scrooge completely straight, just serious as a heart attack.

Will you do a 90s christmas commercial food or something to do with 90s Christmas commercials? Please? Love the nostalgia I feel from watching these

"The jolliest bunch of a**h***s this side of the nuthouse." Clark Griswald. If it didn't have so much cussing, The Ref is a good Christmas movie. Denis Leary is great in that one.

Some of my favorite Christmas movies are hallmark Christmas movies. Especially the royal Christmas ones!

I have no idea what this says about my childhood as a middle-class white American, but am I the only one who always thought of Rudolph as a commentary on discrimination/racism?

Discrimination yeah. I get annoyed how the dad thinks that boys that don't grow up to be tough guy jocks are something to be ashamed of.
