Oof…them prices. FWIW I just picked up a couple SOGs with the AT-XR lock, the Aegis tanto and the Kiku. Neither was expensive. I’m loving the SOG assisted opening; they spring right open and lock perfectly. The Aegis isn’t real pretty (plastic scales) but it’ll be a good weekday knife that doesn’t need to stay pretty. The Kiku is pretty, so it’ll be my weekend dress-up/date-night/going-to-church pocket knife.
