I had a guardian angel light and I can’t say anything but good things about it. I had an orange one and I worked on a railroad. It was the only light I have ever owned that was able to take the abuse that I put it through. Absolutely amazing lights

If you hold the front button it will stay on white light only if you need it to… took me forever to figure out haha

I dropped mine in my yard . Ran it over .. works . Washed it .. worked . Puppy got ahold of it works . I finally got a good mount !

I'm not sure about you but when I turn mine on (holding the front and rear button) it turns on, but then after a few seconds if I hit any buttons, nothing works, I have to re-turn it on and then push buttons to make sure the lights stay on. These are brand new, not sure if there's a standby more or something I'm missing here, but the small diagram provided in the box don't show much about user operation. Very frustrating despite it being of fairly solid build quality. Any ideas?

I liked this light the first time I saw it but you definitely had me at 50+ hours which is way more then I'd ever use it at a time. 👌🏼

I currently have the first series, elite lights, and the second edition elite light. Both are in white and Amber and I use them on the side of the road when I am chaining up my semi truck in the winter time and use them for hands-free lighting throughout the year. Problem I have with white and Amber lights is other drivers. Ignore them when I’m trying to chain up my truck and I am on the traffic side of the truck. People just don’t move over! My next elite series light is going to be the red and blue. I’m going to do that because hopefully that will make people move the hell over when none of the other ones seem to do that. Also, while I’m on the side of the road, putting my chains on, I wear the light on the traffic side on my right shoulder. If it’s on the left shoulder traffic approaching me won’t see it just my two Cents.

How do you get it to stay in place on your shoulder. I have the under the shirt magnetic mount and doesn’t aim to where I need it. What mount are you using?

On the original elite red and blue I only changed it twice in 3 years and it just died on me it was barely used no tear and wear. I contacted Guardian to see what can be done there reply was it’s no longer under warranty to buy a new one lol wow 😯 by any chance do you know how to replace the battery I see no reason to toss this in the trash when it has maybe 20 hrs or use in 3 years..

I don’t know if I would recommend a color for that, it would be up to you! For a mount, a lot of runners use the Velcro arm wrap. Me personally, I would use the snap lock (K9 Mount) for my belt. If you use code “Depot” at checkout you get free shipping and a free Mount.

I have a old one and the reds and blue will flash. Keep holding/ push again and they will stay solid

Which mount would be best for Molle backpack ?

For me, I use the small universal mount clip. It clips good to the loops that run along the front of the backpack I have. The small one for me is just more discrete and the magnets seem to be the same (I own both small and normal size). The jaw clip would work, but again it seems kinda big and bulky for a backpack. I have not tested the Velcro strap they have, but for me personally I want it mounted with something a little stronger. Let me know what you end up with!

Do uniforms have to have a shoulder strap to attach ?

No they don’t, you can put the base plate under the shirt and it will magnet to it. The base plate has a nice layer of foam to make it semi comfortable as well.

are the LEDs brighter than the old one?

They do not seem to be to me. I believe they are still the same.

I had the red blue white one. Cops get snarky about that set up cuz some have used them wrong while driving to pretend to be cop. So I switched to white red one.

What is the newer one called

I sure one of the mounts would work, but you would have to modify it and make it work.

I used it in the field. It's useless. The flash light does not shine my cite book. If I press the wrong button it goes crazy and I eventually just rip it off.

Hate to hear that. I haven’t seen one with a light not bright enough to light up a cite book. Maybe you have a dud there. You cannot blame the device because you pressed the wrong button though, that is an error on your part

if u do a review...do a good one, compare their light difference, which one is stronger or just equal. the distance difference from how far we can see it.. I am not gona spend another $100+ just for the change of charging location and no white lights during the process to turn it off.
