@@kathleenlynch5763 really the girls should try to drop their voices an octave or so, most women that gang around horses have perfected the art, it does help to get the horses attention if they’re kicking, stamping, weaving or whatever in the stall but I think it might be better from a psychological pov for the tourists as well! 😂😂

I wish they had signs telling the public not to touch the horses or the reins.

It would be better than the guards screaming at them. Why do they have to holler at the tops of their voices? To embarrass the tourist, maybe? Just a " can you not touch the reins" would have sufficed.

@user-be5xr9zc6p I actually consider it rude to yell so loudly at tourists like they do since they are listed as a tourist attraction.

There should be a police officer present near the guards at all times to stop the tourists touching the horses and to keep the crowds moving.

Their job is to sit there as a tourist attraction. What could they do if attacked? Not much. That's why the armed cops are there.

Well you have a choice ladies and gentleman ,get shouted at by the guard,bitten by the horse ,cautioned by the police or help the guy with his ladder. Spoilt for choice on New Years day

Personally speaking the horse etc should be roped/barriered off. I believe the same as everyone here regarding the inappropriate behaviour but screaming at people, mostly tourists who cannot understand him and therefore do not realise what they have done wrong does not put them in a very good light.

Sometimes when told not to touch the reins softly no-one listens, so yes yelling is the only thing that gets through. My thinks some holiday makers leave their brains 🧠 at home in the bottom drawer as not needed while away.

by grabbing the rein, they are taking control of the horse and the guard cannot let that happen that's why they are shouting also to be heard above the crowds

Dies the job. Any delay the rider is not control of the horse . A wayward tug coujd jag the horses mouth resulting in a defence reaction

Shouts all round.. 1.04 ..may be these tourists think it’s normal for the British to shout about everything as they had taken over almost all over the world by force in the past .. they got used to acting like bullies & the habit is “ not possible at all “ to forget very easily

Plenty of these soldiers will have been involved in Afghanistan, Iraq etc. Way things are going, they could see Ukraine. Don't disrespect those people whose job description involves getting killed

These two horse regiments for a light armoured reconnaissance division, using Scimitar tanks. These are real soldiers, period. They serve however and wherever they are deployed. These Guards are serving in a duty rotation where you see them in ceremonial gear. Do not be so arrogant and ignorant. A simple Google search should be (just) within your capability.

Those idiot people who touch the reins and put there paws all over the horse should have reins put on them...See how they like getting the same treatment as some of them do to the horse...
