Cerro de la Bufa is a prominent hill overlooking Guanajuato City in Mexico. It holds historical, cultural, and natural significance. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the hill was a site of strategic importance due to its commanding views of the city and surrounding areas, making it a defensive position during conflicts. At its summit, there's a monument to Mexican independence hero, El Pipila, commemorating his act of bravery during the siege of Guanajuato.
