Not a pillar level but almost.. Tanjiro smell a pillar scent from her because she's a tsuguko.. Even better, she's under 2 pillar training.. Shinobu said Kanao is under her training but technically she's under both of the sister because she learn how to fight from watching both of them training.. If there was more tsuguko in the anime then Tanjiro will sense more people like Kanao

But I'm pretty sure Kanao is stronger than Shinobu but it doesn't mean she's more skilled/experienced compare to Shinobu.. plus, she haven't defeat one of the twelve demon moon so that's another reason why she's not a pillar

Seeing kanao in a serious battle cannot be underestimated because just in the butterfly mansion arc tanjiro says that her skills is closer strong like a Hashira and a year has passed since tanjiro said that it means that he honed and practiced every inched of his skill to really match a Hashira in doma's arc.

Agree while I think she had some advantages from shinobu she did outperform inosuke when he had his one on one with Douma she was even supported him after the fight had finished

Kanao is so underrated, she is my favorite character. Kinda sad that this is the only arc where we can see her full in action (another one is when she chased Nezuko which she did not even unveil her breathing style). Another one will be with Muzan but it is still not enough for me but I guess it is alright because she is not the main character. Anyways, can't wait for the whole final arc to be animated!!

Keep in mind that Kanao was already close to average Hashira level around the start of the series, and she just gets stronger as the story progresses. Meanwhile, Douma is just toying with her, and having fun, and casually takes her sword

She was almost as strong as a _Hashira_ when Tanjiro met her in the final selection. You can tell, she survived without a single scratch on her skin.

They where really lucky, Shinobu's whole body was a poison bag which would be strong enough to kill a demon docens of times + Doma went serious during the end. Basically they where extremely lucky

I’m going to lose my marbles when this gets animated-

Kanae Shinobu and Kanao are my top favorite characters. They are so well developed and really show the dynamics of a family. They go by the #1 rule, never mess with family. Kanae has the patience of being the eldest. I love her compassion. Shinobu is well rounded. She is so respectable. She knew she was going to die but fought Doma regardless for revenge. She trusted Kanao to finish the job. Kanao character build is amazing. She goes from this character that can't really feel and can't make decisions. Shinobu death really pushes her to reach her full potential. This makes Kanao relatable for anyone that lost someone close to them. Living for the dead because the dead can't anymore.

Once that fight scene was being animated for real. We Demon Slayer anime fans must be prepared to witness some epic battle that we've never seen before.

What I love most about this series is that it's everyone working together to take down the demons it's not just one hero who's more powerful then everybody else and he takes down all the demons including the moons it's everyone working together to end this!!

I can approve, it's definitely emotional, breathtaking, and a lot of action in the fights

No matter how many times I read the manga, I still can’t believe she held out as long as she did against an Upper Moon- Inosuke really came in clutch lol

I literally went crying when shinobu died and still crying after re reading...but my sadness dissappeared when she automatically busted him in 0.001 secs😩😩

I'm so hyped for this 😭😭😭 Can't wait for the whole manga to be animated! Thank you for this trailer
