Why use low graphical settings in a game where your GPU doesn't even ever reach high utilization ?
Man I sold a 4690K with a gtx970 and 2x8gb RAM years ago, it was a beast. I'm glad that whoever owns it now can still play AAA games from the last few years.

I was told that “GPU was repasted in the winter. Cpu last year w Artic 5. Cpu idles high 20s, Gpu idles 29C.” Is that good?

@@MyHeroIsMidd great! Find out how it does thermally when stressed (GPU/CPU at 100% for like 10min) but it should be fine

still usable in 2022 but a little bit of graphic tweaking is required to get smooth gameplay... for 100$ this cost at 2nd hand, its doing an OK job 🙂

it's good for 1080p but all low setting lets just saay if i want to play warzone 2 u need to lower the setting cuz it's fps shooter u need above 60 fps and u can use fsr 2.1 to boost your fps

Damn, considering the tin that is happening in the world right now, I will sit on this configuration until even the browser starts to slow down.
how can you run games without much fps drops at all with med-high graphics when i have better specs and cant even run warzone with more than 50 fps and it drops to 10 and valhalla to 5

Yes to get better performance if you would like to stay with the same system then change the cpu. Something like an i7 4770 is good or if you want a cpu that performs at the same level but for a cheaper price then the e3 1230 v3 or e3 1231 v3 is your best bet

only one game gives me issue which is pubg. if Vram usage gets above 3.5gb game gets extra stutter. other games runs fine. but finally i bought RTX 3060 so no more 3.5GB . more then 2x performance uplift and full 12 VRAM. 😁

with the latest driver 526.68 its the best driver for the GTX970 for a long while , had and 15 fps increase in all my games thank you Nvidia

I have Asus GTX 970 Mini and for some reason, i'm getting less than 30fps on valorant when I tested it, (using the latest driver) I'm not sure what happen to it. :(

Listen what I say and tell me when GTA 6 releases on pc if I'm wrong: this card will be strong enough to play GTA 6 on PC in 1080p lowest settings (with upscaling on quality) at 30 fps with some drops.

You can still have fun with this at 1080p with low settings. Time for an upgrade though if you have one. 1080ti is dying this year. Not good for a new purchase unless you wana play like sht withr the next games with unreal 5 comin out. Not puttin shit on it. Just the truth!
