Fog light only purpose is to help light up the lines enough to help guide you in unsafe conditions. They are not made to project more light in front of you.

Even so. It’s still has the same part number. Which means it will still made for both fog lights and low beam headlights. Same shit on factory vehicles that came with LED. They always say, off-road use only. Bs, everyone use it. And no complains for that.

I was thinking of trying out the HID from the but for the price tag, my current hid are good enough. I wouldn’t switch to gtr’s led from my current bulbs

I see a hue coming off of the new truck. That looks like projectors to me while your truck clearly doesn’t have projector housing. Your test is looking at housing types more than bulb brightness and is not a good comparison between the two. Next thing to consider is the distance between your truck and the objects in front of it. They should be at an equal distance even if you believe it won’t make a difference light dissipates unevenly in your truck vs the new truck it. So even if you were to reverse and align the trucks, the tree line was clearly closer on your side vs the new truck. All things equal next time.

Comparison without scientific measurement is not clear. You shoulf use a lightmeter at different distance with number not a subjective test with 2 different distances

Factory lights are a better pattern and wider....don’t kid yourself

Yes. But you have to consider the factory ones are coming out of a projector or LED lens. Whereas the other one with the aftermarket kit is just in a regular halogen housing and reflector, still giving out a phenomenal beam pattern and brightness.

idk why people still get the gtr ultras. overpriced and not even top 5 best lights on the market. average performers....
