I’m not sure why nobody is commenting on the massive visual upgrades to the track! Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but the way you created the snow texture merging into the grasslands is amazing! The melting snow looks so real! And you changed the river to a glacier blue so now it looks soooo realistic! I’m blown away dude!

The Nomad looks as good as she goes -- consistently excellent drifting. Dig the "train-eye view" - totally unique.

Many reasons to give a second viewing here and at the top of the pile are those sweet drifts where cars really sliced the pie coming so very close to the innermost limits of that turn on Mesa Butte!! 🥳🎊

What I love about this track is how it levels the playing field between new builders and veterans. Very unpredictable who is gonna move on. Fun as always. 👍

Thank you for having me. It was great fun (Justin Thyme, yellow Nissan). As a first ever race entry I think I did fine. Albeit with room for improvement. Managed to qualify about mid-crowd. Didn't ever flip over. Capable of reasonable speed. However both driver and mechanic will get a talking to as reliability and consistency was not where it needed to be. Oh well..

You should be very proud! Early on you had a great drift followed by an unlucky break. This is a technical track. Sure, luck plays a part, but it does for any track. I agree. You started in the middle of the pack... and ahead of many veterans.😊

I really like Herb's beautiful 55' Nomad, took notice of him in the qualifying round. Great racing as always fellas, thanks !

This race started off great, Swervin' Herb got caught in some serious competition with Grumpy Cloud on the runway but came back in the second race with a NICE time (did you see how he handled his car on the drifts??) . Great job by Swervin' Herb, I predict that he's going to make a great showing in this tournament.

I can't wait to watch Herb in the next round. I like seeing new promising underdogs at an unfamiliar track. Great job, Swerving Herb!

When cars are tuned right, it's a thing of beauty, isn't it. Look carefully at the instant replays, and you'll see the wheels spinning faster than the car is traveling.

This is very cool. Hats off to the designer of that entire setup.

I could enjoy the show for hours. And I am an old tool 61 y.o. Thanks for sharing.

I really appreciate all of the fun camera angles, slow motion, and great editing. The track is amazing. I just keep binge watching these. Picking a favorite car makes it fun. I would love to see a series using all the really weird cars with animal bodies and cartoonish features. Maybe try a super hero themed race for halftime with the batmobile and such. Maybe a whole Lego series lol.

I absolutely love this track and channel! Keep up the good work guys. I'd like to submit a request... please look into the train timing. Seems inconsistent. Some cars go slow and still get 3 or 4 points, while some go relatively fast and only get 1 point. The Nomad almost missed the train entirely on that last race. Something seemed off. Thanks for everything you do.

You are correct. For each race, I toggle the start switch when the train reaches a certain point on the track, but the timer isn't consistently initializing, and starting the timer. I need to modify the setup to initialize without flipping the on/off switch. I think it's as simple as inserting a push button in the circuit.

@@kev872002 diecast builders can enter tournaments using redlinederby.com. Thats where i post my upcoming races. I make announcements first on my Gravity Throttle Facebook page. That way viewers know when to sign-up, because most of my races have limited space. Hope that helps.

It's L shaped (obviously). It is 13.5 feet in width and 23 feet long.

Looks like the secret to winning is a 47:53 split.

The train is divided into 4 segments with shiny gold tape strips. Depending on where the car jumps over the train determines how many extra points they get. Let's say a car finishes in 2nd place and jumps the train in the +3 section. They get 3+3. 3pts for 2nd place and 3 more for jumping the train. Hope that helps.
