WOW!!!!! Nothing but excitement in each race. Consistency was the key for Crazy Canuck as he completed 7 out of 8 races which put him on top. Sky could have won it all had it not been for the two DNFs in races 6&7. Can't wait for the next one.

Don't forget to mention Sky's drifting... possibly the best to date!

Of all the long old school wagons I have seen run at GTR, this one looked stable, and a smooth runner, and yes drifted sweetly. Cheers, Marc D

Great racing! I was rooting for Sky from the intros, I dig that model of station wagon. Such a bummer that the two races she didn't finish were the two train races! Well done to all the competitors!

Was totally impressed with the Chevelle! Better than i thought, but it finally succumbed to that narrow wheel base. Great speed on that car though! Congrats Crazy Canuk!! Beauty work Mark!!

Richard must be a Hardee's/Carl's Jr guy the way he was botching the jingle lyrics 😂😂😂 Much greater performance than I expected from Sky's wagon--when it was on its game, it was _flying_ !! I agree, Sky was fast. Howveer the wheel base was very narrow as Mark warned about. I will bet on a track without jumps, Sky would fly.

@Chris_Hood thanks for the observation. I updated the driver, but that was shown to not be the problem. It looks like the issue is in the software, and it only occurs with video recorded at 120 fps. I may have figured out a way to correct it. We shall see.

I believe that is the "secret" to speed on this course...

Are you kidding me? A Friday night special race or something? This is incredible. I was about to go clear coat another bouncer, and select another car for the Goop for a different track. But NO! you had to post this race. I only came in for a second and I see GTR. Well, that was all it took. Plopping my butt down to watch. Thank you very much. This is going to be great!

Yep, super fast car. The best tuned Chevelle wagon entered, but those narrow axles are a gamble. Too bad for Sky.

I saw in one of your earlier build clips that you had plans to build a rail yard. Did that ever eventuate or has your focus been mainly geared towards the races?

I have a small train yard next to a big grassy lot, which is more of a pit area for the cars. There's also a Texaco gas station. It's not shown in this video, but you will see it from time to time.
