I watched them at daytona, the cadillac cars have the most intense off throttle pops and bangs I have ever heard. They sound amazing, video can't do it justice either.

The major difference really to other cars is that Cadillac is naturally aspirated where as other teams chose turbos. So witohut turbo those engines would sound quite similar. Also turbo makes the engine much quiter.

​@@matixok1167your right turbo makes engine quiet but even without turbo these cars wouldn't sound like the Cadillac because it use a crosspane crankshaft while others use flatpane crankshaft that's why it sounds so American

It’s funny because I’m obsessed with that car but I drive an 05 Cadillac deville and it’s one of the worst v8’s ever made

I’m a Porsche Penske fan, but I have to admit Cadillac sounds the best. I felt like it growled at me as it went by. Music to my ears. 🎶

LOVE the growl of the Porsche

I watched them at Sebring, and the caddilacs getting on the power after the Horseshoe was insane 😳

Ive been all about the GM 5.5L since I first heard it in 2014 at Le Mans in a C7R (favorite application still being the Corvette Daytona Prototype). And im glad the sturdy old thing still finds use to this day, and is still appreciated.

Acura nailed it. And it's only a 2.4-liter engine 😂

Do you understand Acur4 turbo engines but don't seem to understand C4dillac engines? it's a 6.2L engine why didn't you mention that? why just say naturally aspirated? even though you know about Acur4 turbo engines?

The Cadillac and it’s not even close. That car is a DEMON around a racetrack. It sounds unreal in person

Fun fact: The Porsche 963 has the same engine from the 918 Spyder but in this case it has twin turbos hence it has lost the beautiful soundtrack and the 9k RPM redline

Sebring, 2000s, watching the 2 Corvettes downshifting for the hairpin, loudly accelerating out. We turned after they left and jumped a little. There was the Audi LMP, downshifting and braking, all we could hear was the whine of the transmission.
