I'll have to check mine on my Passat 1.8t. I thought my turbo was making that noise but I just installed a new one and still have the noise on cold start. Thanks for the tip. I have had many Audi A4 and TT 1.8t cars and never had this problem.

Lol I almost got worried as my Seat Leon 1.8T makes exactly the same noise during cold starts, but if this is the video where it's been fixed, then I got nothing to worry about I guess :D

Photos are broken on the DIY could you update them? Occasionally my 1.8T GLI AWP sounds like a jet engine trying to take off.. I wish you had a video of the sound before you fixed it. I'm starting to suspect the SAI pump
