If you are on the new definitive edition and having problems this should help. For me he wasn't moving on the ledge and I tried all the jetpack and slow mo and it didn't work. Instead I saved the game before starting the mission, then completed the mission as usual and everytime he would fall it would save the crates from the previous attempt. After a few trys he will start to move on the ledge, and you have the angle yourself in between the glitched crates for him to land safely.

@@Rooooogboi when the mission fails and u dont restart the checkpoint and leave the truck the crates gon be there when u start the mission again. So do that 2 times (fail the mission, cancel the checkpoint, leave the truck, start the mission again) then save the game, restart gta, load the saved game manually (dont 'continue' on the main menu) then do the mission he will be moving on the edge

It's so unexpected that people would watch this haha, sorry for the late response guys I just checked recently, perhaps those who watch this can share this video to others too that there is literally a way how to finish this even if you have activated many cheats that ruin the missions including this one, but there is a possibility that there are some other missions that can't be completed not sure, this glitch was quite 'trending' long time ago and old caused by pedestrian riot cheat activated but I started to find out how to finish this without using repair thing or mods in 2019, possibly it can work on PS2 too I just did this on PC though and it's pure just using cheats, probably after this mission is done you can continue the next missions I should have tried this long time ago lol

Soz I don't quiet get your point, are you referring to the timestamp 20? or you talk about the cause of this bug? or how many cheats used in the video, for how many cheats you may can check comments I mentioned several times the list of cheats I used with timestamp too, and in case you wonder the bug caused by pedestrian riot cheat that you activated before the mission starts, if you never used that cheat all would be ok even you used other cheats but some other missions can be glitched too

Slow time or not, you mean the slower gameplay cheat? using slower gameplay mode is to make it easier to catch madd dogg when you activate jetpack and float under him so he bumps on you and glitch his falling speed, but slow motion isn't enough you gotta activate the pedestrian riot during the scene to make people freeze But also maybe you gotta try to turn on frame limiter idk if that affects though when I did this method I recorded the game at 25 fps lol cause my machine is just casual prob fps can affect you doing this, not sure

@@unnamedchannel2679 The issue with my game was Madd Dogg fell too fast no matter what I tried. The closest I got to saving him was spawning tall vehicles and even then I was too late. I just used a cheat that let me skip it, don't remember which one though.

Not sure but I tried to look at the video once again, possibly timestamp 0 - 0:15 other than slow motion mode they were recruiting anyone with AK "noonecanstopus" and no traffic & pedestrians "ghostown" and timestamp 0:19 I think pedestrian riot to make those people freeze during the scene before you start moving and the rest you can see, flying car, hotring or any vehicles, jetpack

Unfortunately I kinda forgot some cheats I used and also I practised and managed to do this in 2019 I made the vid but I didn't have time to upload so I forgot how I even did this and when to use the cheats perhaps I have to retry it again, but as far as I can remember they are: Recruit anyone with 9mm Slow motion mode x2 Jetpack Flying car Spawn Hotring Racer (or any vehicle to let madd dogg as a recruited gang sit as a passenger)

Well, I was actually planning to do that when I tried this method even I just did it for fun and curious if I could manage it and until I did it, then I decided to record and upload it but I lacked of stuff like video editing software and video quality should have been better but didn't have better pc, I was gonna make a tutorial too with text but since I didn't have these I think I decided to just upload a single video like a 'walkthrough' of how my accidentally founded trick works, this video one, I just thought it would be enough if people see it some might can practice it, but maybe at least I will someday try to write how to do it with cheats used too in the description, though I have replied comments with the cheats listed hopefully people will see lol

You have to use jetpack like in the video you gotta do it quick it may need you to try again and again but the purpose of doing that is to make him bump on you so he will bounce and make him falling less hard as you can see when he bumps on CJ his falling speed is like reduced, so madd dogg is programmed to be fragile in this mission where he can die with just a single punch, well idk how it works in game but when you jump and bump on someone usually it won't take you damage at all that's how it happens to madd dogg in this mission and that's how he doesn't die so it's a chance

So I found on xbox one definitive version if madd dog glitches an you can't see him fall all you need todo is turn on slow mo and spawn a jet pack at the base where he falls and then get in the ute with crates an enter the marker then exit the vehicle put on the jetpack then take it off and enter the ute the cut scene angle shout adjust so you can see him falling an catch him I tried this today on the gta sa definitive xbox one after my mission started glitching an I was unable to finish the mission my version worked for myself maybe it might work for others

I haven't tried the definitive ones, nor I will be able lol, but if there is still a bug like this in this mission hope this trick can solve it, but if the bug still exists in this mission since I never tried the game that would be weird, or just any bugs that exist on the definitive I heard it's buggy after the release, the dev should have made it better than classic it ought to be improved obviously, idk I think the dev just made or improved the texture and graphics only making it like gta 5 graphics, it's like uploading texture mod on gtagarage.com

Hits jetpack? you mean he fell and and went through the jetpack and hit ground? he didn't bump on you when he fell? btw in the video the scene where I float and stay at the position where he falls there is a purpose why I did this, this is to make madd dogg bumps on CJ then bounces himself when he falls from the casino, doing this will glitch or reduce his falling speed hence he won't take any damage when he touches ground after touching and bumping on me that's why he doesn't die in my video So there is a bug in game some kind, probably most of people haven't noticed this when you fall from very high altitude no matter from building or sky, plane, if you manage to land on an NPC or pedestrian then you bump on them you'll touch the ground slowly and you will survive instead idk how that happens but my experience you can even survive if you hit ledge of obstacle too, that's why I did that method to make him bump on me and he doesn't take any damage, but I think I kinda remember madd dogg died too when he bumped on me while he was falling not sure, tho I'm sure that's a very rare occasion still doing this is important so he can survive cause madd dogg is programmed to be fragile in this mission, I think you have to be more accurate then and do carefully when he falls, float at his position Also don't fly too high, but lower there is a possibility too you don't really have to fly and stay at his position, you may can just stand still at his position lol, he'll still bump on you he may survive once hitting the ground

@@tommyjohnson9875 That should be rare to happen, it's a bug in game when you bump on someone most of the times you don't take any damage at all after falling then you hit the ground, when I did it I don't really remember how many attempts I did but surely it happened to me too but not often prob you have to keep trying, did you manage to pass it lol

@@tommyjohnson9875 Probably you need to try more until like there is a luck where he doesn't die, perhaps you can do these too but not a guarantee this can pass it but I also wanna know the result as I just did that scene normally If that can't work, try to stand still at his position but you can still use jetpack when the mission starts so that you can go faster but don't float or fly you can fly a bit when starting but then stand still until he falls and bumps on you cause since you don't float you'll be at the ground standing still so when he bumps the distance between the ground and when he falls is lower maybe it can't give him more damage or shows you any differences, but you may will try again and again since you'll need to be accurate And when you float at his position right when he touches the ground after bumping on you immediately and very fast aim at him then recruit him as a gang like what I did, when he touches the ground he gets stunned and his behavior is neutral that's your chance only to recruit so you can order him

Madd dogg keeps falling before I can use the jetpack

Well I try to explain a bit, that's because dogg targets someone to attack, after activating pedestrian attack each other or riot cheat previously before this mission he's permanently being aggressive, that's also how in this mission why he instantly jumps because he wants to attack anyone nearest under him like those peds when you activate the riot cheat So to handle this, there is a cheat that you need to activate like in the video on 0:20, if you see carefully I activate and deactivate a cheat the purpose of doing this is to make everyone during the scene freeze for temporarily, try to look the people there some NPCs are about to play animation by raising hands (probably to shout) when I activate the cheat they freeze and just stand still, so this can make people there neutral including madd dogg too where he will delay his movement/animation, this can give you time to use jet pack and concentrate flying to his position where he falls, once you get closer he will jump to attack you actually but that's how it works tho, that's why also you have to use slower gameplay cheat you can get more time and type the cheat fast. But one problem, unfortunately I just kinda forgot what cheat I used on 0:20, if I'm not mistaken, try to activate and deactivate "pedestrian riot" or attack each other cheat I think that's what I used on that timelapse as soon as the scene starts, if you see people freeze then that's the cheat, but you don't really have to use that cheat sometimes or on rare occasion madd dogg doesn't move or attack anyone you may can still have time to use jetpack and block him when he falls

@@cyborgphantom8977 He jumps right after the scene ends, even during the scene too because he's targeting someone to attack, that's why I used the cheat when the scene starts to temp freeze people there and make them neutral, timestamp 0:20 Ok hope this will do this time if you haven't managed it lol I tried this many times and failed you know but practised, make sure you activate slower gameplay cheat before starting the mission twice, when the scene starts try to activate these cheats but try one by one, first use riot mode cheat "stateofemergency" then quick deactivate it see if the people there will be freezing and standing still if yes then quick skip the scene and type the jetpack cheat and fly to madd dogg position where he will fall, if you feel no difference try second one pedestrian attack each other "AJLOJYQY" maybe harder to type, these cheats like I told you on 0:20 is necessary I bet it's pedestrian riot thing i just forgot it, but sometimes you don't have to use, just see if they will be frozen and then do the same like in video, also make sure you activate "ghosttown" this will make the place more empty so madd dogg won't attack others, I'm sure you can do plus based on comments of people some of them made it I assume, maybe it's possible you can find another way too on your own to complete it by making the video as reference

You can either use a controller to play or you put the jetpack in ground before the cutscreen. You need to practice it and do it really fast.
