And now that they know him probably it doesn't have the urge to show toughness xd

I guess because the player doesn't know well what Trevor is like and what he's capable of doing, they'll think he's a random guy who wants to look intimidating or something, otherwise they probably would have had a different reaction.

Yeah female characters are deceptively similar to male characters. Especially if you've got them in a suit. Hope in GTA 6 they let us have fat or muscular characters or whatever.

I like how happy the female MC looks when given the gun by Lamar. I find the awkwardness of the first interactions with the female MC so fucking funny, like they totally pinned down the experience of playing a female character Online, regardless if you're a dude. Also love the so notorious change from first cutscene Lamar to actual

GTA Online definitely needs an option to re-watch all the cutscenes that you get to see only once.

Im glad the cutscenes lets us keep our masks on you literally can’t take our characters seriously and make the cutscenes funnier

I really hope they’re thinking about making a a DLC with Michael. It would be nice to have a Trevor DLC but I doubt it will happen considering what’s happening with Steven Ogg right now and him not liking the character now which is sad but I get it he wants to be recognized for his other work which he’s incredible in.

One thing I still don't understand online... I'm a new player, but I've been following the game since its launch, and I never understood why our character has contact with some characters,Even without knowing them, like Dom for example, my character doesn't know him, and he has the contact, and if I call him, there's nothing, just a message box... Can anyone explain it to me? (sorry if my English is wrong, I'm from Brazil)

It is never really explained how we know most of the characters, and it's not even explained how we meet Lamar, but Lamar says he was friends on LifeInvader (the parody of Facebook) with our Online character and that he'd set us up with important people to help start earning money in Los Santos, people like Simeon, Gerald, Hao, and others. So the idea is we have met some of these people online before (like Lamar and maybe even Dom since he calls us a lot) and some of them were introduced to us through Lamar after we arrived in the city. Since our Online character is a character of our own making, we choose to fill in the empty parts that the story does not tell us. We decide what sort of origin story they have and how they met some important characters in the city before we started working with them.

Me too. It makes me sad to think that 98% of online players won't feel this difference in character changes because they haven't even thought about playing the story mode at least once. They only played the prologue and never played it again. I myself jumped with excitement when I saw Franklin after 8 years, he is my favorite character in story mode

Not just you. Initially Online took place before Single Player, set in 2013. Generally accepted Online was set about 6 months or so before Story Mode begins, so Lamar (and everyone else) will be their ages from the story mode. Everything up to the Bikers update takes place prior to that. Then the entire events of story mode takes place, and beginning with the Gunrunners DLC it is no longer a prequel but shifts to 2017 which was the then-current year. From that point forward every new DLC advances the in-game year to the point that it came out, so Gunrunners and the Doomsday Heist are set in 2017, After Hours and Arena Wars are 2018, etc. Lamar and Franklin got their updated models with The Contract DLC in 2021, so they were aged up 8 years from how we last saw them in Story Mode.

When they do pull the plug on the gta online dlc updates, they should make the final dlc the hardest biggest payout one yet, and at the end of the heist, whatever character in charge should be like “hey there’s someone that wants to meet you” and it’s Michael de Santa, and he’s just like “I’ve heard a lot about you, you really made a name for yourself, listen kid I see a younger version of myself in you…etc etc” then before he gets in his car he turn around and he’s like “welcome to los santos, the real los santos” they should make the dlc right before gta 6, it would hittttt
