The GTAV APC has a much better performance but it's unrealistic, the BTR-4 is looks relly cool, its outfit is wonderful and the whole is vehicle realistic altough I think the weapons are weaker then they are in real life. I mean an ATGM don't kill an MRAP or a highly armored pick up with one shot? You gotta be kiding me. Also the BTR-4 has 3 (or 2, I'm not sure about this) crew and also there are 8 occupants in the desant area.
Of course the mod versions for every car and weapon in the game may be worse than the actual stuff the game provides you itself in a way or other but it looks more realistic if you like that

I've taken out quite a few Mk 2s with the original APC. But if they get the drop on you, you're pretty screwed.
