Here's a good way to fix this issue, hopefully this helps: - The Securicar travels the same route from Donald's place to the garage every time. - All you have to do is follow this route, however if you drive really far ahead along the same roads, the Columbians dont spawn. The pickups that try to ram the Securicar and also the shooters on the street, neither appear if you are not near the Securicar. - If you have tried this a few times and encountered the bad pathfinding glitch at the end of the mission, then you know the route. - Securicar will receive minimal damage, and this helps a lot because you'll need to damage it yourself later. - Just drive as far as you can to the courtyard entrance where the garage is, and sit and wait for the Securicar. - If you fail the mission because you are too far away, next time just ease off a bit on speeding ahead, though it shouldnt fail. - Then use your vehicle to cushion or buffer the far side of the courtyard entrance. - When the Securicar eventually arrives, bump and nudge it to force it to drive into the courtyard. - If it still insists on driving on the adjacent road, reverse into it to force it down the hill and into the courtyard. - When it is blocked/forced/bumped into the courtyard it should go into the garage without any issue, and you will pass the mission.

Best and easy way: try to get on top of securicar and shoot enemies as they come. Make sure you have full armor and health. Edit: Or use Ray bulletproof patriot if you have saved it in your garage

The Easiest way to do this mission is to jump on the car, It will move if you are on it. and you can shoot the car without problems.

MrPathorn I did this, and jumped off when the Securicar took a bunch of damage, and ran away. Then, I realized that it made the cartel members to despawn, and I won the mission from doing basically nothing.

It's best to use a police car since it has a siren for people to move away from you and is very fast. Jump on a police car, activate the siren, kill cartels, and burn rubber!

Just found an incredibly easy way to pass this mission: Drive up near the Securicar at the start to make it start the journey. Then just wait, do whatever you want as if you're in free roam. (As long as you stay away from the Securicar) The van will follow the usual route, but no Columbians will load in the area it's in, as you aren't nearby! Later on, you might need to just head over the bridge to "Check the coast is clear ahead of the tunnel" but again, only make sure you're close enough to initiate the van to move out of the tunnel. (You can still be on the bridge at this point.) Then just wait for the mission complete message!

You’ve got to be kidding me, the car was about to head into the garage, but instead it just turned the other direction and blew up.

Passed this mission with 99% damaged health for the van. Went to save in staunton and drowned the car because of the lifting highway. Demolished PC.

You can literally just park you car and wait. The securicar will get no damage lmao

i like how at the very beginning of the game it tells you that this very same armored vehicle cannot take damage from bullets. and here in this mission it is taking lots of damage from the cartels bullets. i love double standards.

I used THE TANK to escort the Securicar. Best one sided video game battle in my favor.

@TwistLep In real life this came out in 2001 and is set in 2001. San Andreas came out around 03'-04' and is set in 1992. In GTA terms GTASA came first, and you see Claude first meet Catalina, but in real life GTA 3 came first. Here's the order of the ps2 versions in GTA (GTAVCS, GTAVC, GTASA, GTALCS, GTA 3, and GTA 4. Thats why it's called 4 since that is the one nearest to the time of GTA 3 IDK about Chinatown Wars.)

I’m on the gta trilogy that just released. Playing on Xbox and just waiting worked till the tunnel but the truck got stuck sideways. I ran into it 500 times to straighten it out and I assume it was bugged as it didn’t move. The truck was not even half way damaged so I assume waiting works and I just got unlucky

@@jadkhattab7039 Not really - I drove around on the same island far away from the van. This way, the cartel gang members won't spawn, but the securicar will continue driving to the end of the tunnel on Shoreside Vale, where the game will ask you to keep up with the securicar to protect it from the cartel. Then it'll drive to Donald's and can be ignored again until it reaches its' final destination

Yes, there is. Get in a car, drive close to the securicar, so they take off. Then drive away from the securicar. If it gets stuck in the tunnel, take the bridge to the airport and the subway back to Staunton Island. Then they just drive to the destination. I think, as long as you are not around the securicar, cartel does not spawn, so the securicar does not receive too much damage.

NFLization Gta 3 was relased in 2001 and the history takes place in the same year it was relased, Gta Sa was relased in 2004 but the history takes place in the early 90s

Bro i barly passed this mission because near the end of the escort two car came out of no where and the other car was on fire and it drove next to the other car and exploded it was like 1% hp form mission fail if i failed i would have quitted the fame lol AND I DID IT IN CONSOLE

You need to have the Uzi. Then look to tleft or right, while you're in a car and shoot.

no matter what you do it gets at least %90 damaged. What an annoying mission

I passed it and I had lost the car, I couldn't find it and it came out mission completed and here saying that it is difficult I lost the vehicle from sight (I am in the original version for PC)
