3D Artist here! I usually don't comment on videos but I wanted to share my appreciation. I know how much work goes into modeling, texturing, shading and animating stuff like this. As a plane enthusiast and MSFS player I love seeing the passion and effort the community puts into these modpacks / addons just for seemingly minute details like this. Wow! Was waiting for that. Just tried it and works well. Did not notice any performance issues, it feels very lite as performance. This gives you the final brick of immersion, now you have everything you need to start a realistic flight. Thanks

Any plans for Freighters too please? being able to see the "Containers" when checking the cabin Also, any plans to have Containers with the Airline logo on it, and remain persistant on arrival? ie: loading with Air France Handling, having AFR Containers, and when arriving, even with another handling operator like Cathay Pacific, the unloaded containers are still AirFrance, it used to be that way on FSX, I miss that persistance feature, it made the Immersion so much better ;) Thank you

Thank you for this video. I updated the software twice when i saw the passengers in cabin update this morning but all i saw was the passengers boarding and walking in the plane. Although good I couldn t get to see the passengers in their seats. Now I understand why. I can t wait to see the entire event tomorrow. It will be great. Again thank you.

i dont think it has anything to do with PMDG, it would be GSX that would need to integrate with PMDG products therefore it will take time after release for GSX to work on that.

Yess!!!! Finally! This is the mod I have been waiting for. It brings purpose to the flight. My next dream mod is if they could use AI to add driveable roads on top of the map roads, then add a few cars you can drive around in.

I like it a lot! But in VR the passengers aren't visible from the cockpit when looking back. They will also disappear if the cockpit door shuts. Works great non VR!

Set the Object LOD Slider to 200, they'll be seen in VR as well.

It looks incredible! But is there a simple way to get notified on updates? The installer takes a long time just to figure out an update hasn’t released yet. Why isn’t there a mail list?

Is there a way to override the pax disappearing once the door is shut? I would like to be able to see them even when the door is closed and I’m roaming about the cabin. Regardless, this is awesome!!

This is awesome! I'm curious how this will work with aircraft with smaller, lower cabins. The PAX are too tall to fit through the doors on some aircraft, like the BAE146 or PC-12. In real life the PAX would crouch to get in. Will their heads pop through the fuselage in external view? I'm just curious as l use a lot of smaller aircraft

For PMDG 737-800 seems a bit complicate to add (various plane modifications). In PMDG no operatible door as trigger from inside, GSX may create separate ''hotkey'' for visual on/off passengers on seats. Anyway PMDG should add functional doors from inside plane.

its just odd do many board without carryon even crew. You never know when you may have a cancellation or reschedule so you always carry luggage. And by law they must have their IFM’s which means a carryon regardless. other complaint is GSX vehicles are unable to see other GSX vehicles and drive right through… awesome update!

I've raised this issue at the beginning when animated pax were introduced (back in P3Dv4 IIRC) and I didn't get a satisfactory answer. It looks like they were using some stock walking animation, which is why their walk animations look so weird, and reminds me of some bus simulators. They do have a 3D model with carryon (the pilots) but they won't reuse it for the passengers. As for vehicles driving right through, there's no collision physics in the sim, at least not without it possibly going haywire....

@@Avantime Why would collision physics be needed? If the vehicles are following predetermined paths then surely these just need to be adjusted to avoid them passing through each other.

@@tjfSIM Because route overlap is inevitable when vehicles operate in such a tight space, especially with baggage carts. GSX also can spawn different sized vehicles, what route works for one might not work for another. And it's not just between vehicles, more often they go through the aircraft, MSFS's own ground vehicles and other static scenery objects.

@@Avantime It's not something that bothers me enormously to be honest, but I don't see why the timing sequence and pathways cannot be optimised to avoid the 'pass throughs'. GSX must have a bounding box for the aircraft because cargo loading and pushback trucks connect accurately to it.

I know this probably won't be answered here, but if anyone has any idea or knows, will airplanes like the Aerosoft CRJ be eventually supported with this new update? Because the cabin door does not open/close but it still does have a cabin. Cause I'd certainly love to have it in the CRJ too :)
