Where is the part where we see what it can do ?

Allan - Thank you for your review. I received this model telescope for Christmas and I truly want to love this telescope as it appears to be very highly rated. Tonight I honestly struggled a bit and hope you can share some advice. 1) Starting simple with the moon, as soon as I had the moon centered, the mere act of tightening the arm would throw off my sight...after several failed attempts it seemed the best compromise was to simply hold my hands tight around the base. 2) A 4inch reflector I used to have had two micro adjustment tracking arms where the Gskyer does not. Is the re a way to find your object that is better than the hit or miss method that seemed to be my only option? 3) For objects directly overhead and tripod legs fully extended I was on the ground in order to peer into the eyepiece. Would you advise the use of a platform or is there another recommendation? Thank you for any advice!

The first thing I would replace, if I had this scope, would be the diagonal eyepiece holder. I would get a 90°, so I could sit comfortably in a chair and observe. You could spend a fortune on one, but can get a decent one for under $20, like the Svbony one on Amazon for $18.99. It looks like any 1.25 inch diagonal would work, and will be a nice upgrade to your scope. Hope this helps, clear skies!

Is this good for daytime and terrestrial viewing as well? Images are also mirrored/flipped though?

What is your favorite brand of Telescope and which is your favorite model?

Is the scope any good? The mount and accessories look cheap but optically is it ok?

Where and how would you put on the 3X Barlow piece?

You place the eyepiece in the barlow, then the barlow and eyepiece together into the diagonal.

I set the scope up, and all I see is pitch black, what are we doing wrong????

You need to take off the cover of the scope or you not pointing it right

i set mine up but when i look through it its black i can't see anything.

Try in the daytime with the 25mm eyepiece. Center a distant chimney or tree in the main scope and then adjust the finder till the object is also centered. Practice focusing in the daytime before trying the moon using the 25mm eyepiece.

I bought a gskyer telescope a couple years ago and have lost the accessorie tray and all lens and ph mount can you please tell me where I can order these parts please
