I love these types of videos!!! It's not always about buy buy buy it's about being creative and content with all the stuff we have! Otherwise it's just a waste. Thank you!! Also, I think the marketing was totally off with the Huetopia palette. I think Pat McGrath did it on purpose. If they had just called it divine rose 3, which it is, they would not have created such intrigue and hype. Maybe they thought it would make people mad but honestly I'm more mad about being mislead than about the color story. I like the new palette, it's beautiful, but I feel like they were yanking my chain to get my attention and to get more likes on Instagram and more visibility in general. It was a bit shady. I’m not “mad” about the palette being typical PML shades since I know they’re wearable and they’re what sell but what bothers me about having the same tones within her line and this goes for CT’s line too, is that it lacks creativity and innovation. These are all money grabs to me. Just the way people complain about Colourpop doing the same thing over and over again. Waiting for a new eyeshadow palette used to be so exciting to me because I never knew what to expect-now it’s predictable. More rosy tones but in a different order. I’m not a colorful eyeshadow wearer so it’s not like I’m hoping for something outrageously colorful but I’d love to see something unexpected and creative. I can’t be alone in this.

I loved this vid! Really fabulous, Charlotte ❤️ I’m all for more of these type as it’s great to revisit old loves. I’ve been doing a fortnightly shop my stash and I use my picks for the next 2 weeks (or until I’m bored 🙃) , it’s literally like going on a shopping spree and it means I’m not neglecting anything. I have a golden rule that I can use any Pat McGrath at any time though 😂 and I’m not mega strict with myself or it’d suck the joy out of some fun 😆

I love these kind of videos because it really makes me want to pull out older makeup, its amazing buying new makeup but sometimes i have to wait till i have the money so when i see these videos it like come on use what you have, I've been loving the Lancome teint idole foundation again, its an oldie but a goodie and I'd forgotten about it because of other foundations coming in but i love it so definitely needs to be in my rotation, great video as always Charlotte xx

you look absolutely smashing, darling! i’m actually excited for the new mothership palette. i don’t own any of her palettes or quads, but i feel like this palette is perfect for me. it’s everything that i love. 💖

I've just recently pulled out my CT Exaggereyes Quad and the ND Bloom Blush & Glow palette. Your video prompted me to find my ND Mini Bronze & Glow as well and my CT Supestar glow giant highlighter which has been largely untouched since I bought it. I'll use that tomorrow. I need to work on another foundation as well as I just finished my Beauty Blender bounce foundation today. Thanks for your video, its good to see influencers using older products they love.

As I picked up the PMG foundation today and on me ist melted away on my face and it was not even hot and I thought oh well that is nothing longer wearing and\or hot weather….😆🤦‍♀️🙈🌸🎨 so interesting and Good that we all are different and still „Kind of the Same as humans“ 🌸🍀 greetings from Germany

Hi Christina, I hope u don’t mind but I saw your comment. I love the PM foundations & pallets. I felt sorry for you that the foundation didn’t last for you. Obviously some foundations are just not for everyone but I wanted to suggest (if your not already) a few ideas to try to get it working. Definitely start t with a clean face, including removing any face creams you put on the night before. They can leave a residual on your skin. If you have oily skin just use a light primer. If your skin is dry you need to moisturise your face wait a couple of minutes then apply the primer & foundation. I always set it with a small amount of translucent powder. If your skin is too dry it will soak up the foundation & make it look patchy & not sit well. If your skin is oily definitely make sure u use a primer & perhaps a matte setting spray. MAC has a really good one. Apologies for stepping in but I feel for you that foundation is not cheap & when you nail the combo of skincare you use under it - it’s beautiful. Sometimes just changing the primer might help a lot to. Hope u get a change to experience just how lovely & long wearing this foundation can be.

♥️♥️♥️Pat McGrath! She is very well-known for glowing, varying colorful palettes. As she is the iconic mother of colorful, dramatic couture runway looks. Mothership 7&8 were a response to many requests for a more wearable palette. So now we’re awaiting for a bit of a return to her colorful genius. ♥️

Idk. I feel like her motherships are usually pretty neutral with pops of colors and she uses a variety of textures for the jazz. With maybe the Decadence maybe being her most “colorful”. I feel like her quads are maybe more colorful, she def has played with color…. But, her motherships seem to really rely on 1 or 2 fun shades 🤷🏻‍♀️

I absolutely agree with you about the new Mothership IX palette! I could not decide either for Devine Rose I or Devine Rose II. For nr I I was afraid it is too cool for me. Nr II repelled me with its bright pink shadow in the centre. This "newborn baby" of them looks the best to me.

You just reminded me to drag the PM palette out as I haven’t used it in ages! I’ll be trying this look out first 💋 xx

I love the look of the new Huetopia palette and it is right up my alley, for me it is an extension of Divine Rose i and ii and I love it.

I’m glad Bronze Seduction was my first palette from Pat McGrath. I think it’s super wearable and a palette that truly works for all skin tones.

I love the OG pat mascara but it dries out too quickly for my purse. My favourite is the Mac in extreme demension 3D mascara, lasts almost a year (I know you aren’t supposed to keep it that long 🤷‍♀️) its super black and makes a curl all by itself.

Still love and use... - MAC Face and body foundation - Hourglass Ghost palette (I know your opinion about this brand, but I have this palette in my draw and because of that, will use it) - Benefit brow products Great video, as always Charlotte❣️ 😘 Sabine

I love this! I love seeing tried and true favorites 🤩 I've been grabbing for some older palettes and blushes the past few weeks because it's fun playing with favorites and it's also easy when your in a rush ❤❤❤

I like the new PM, but at this point I have Subliminal, Midnight Sun, and all the Star Wars and I just can't justify it. Also, I feel like I must be the only person to have decluttered #5 because I only really liked that special pink and I just couldn't justify keeping it when someone else would find it thrilling..

I feel absolutely the same about the Pat M palette and how she has her aesthetic…. Just like CT. I said the same thing myself. (And no brand, no launch will ever please everyone). So, brands need to do what they want.

I love your humor and your practicality in the makeup wilderness. I think the new upcoming mothership is beautiful and I have all of them, so, of course I will be getting it, but, SELF, YOU HAVE ALL THE REST, SO YOU CAN WAIT FOR THE BIG SALE??!?!?, also have quads and many other pallets, from other brands, because eyeshadow is my passion. I think the upcoming Pat McGrath pallet is beautiful and although I occasionally wear colorful looks, I don’t do clown color looks. I skipped the Circo Loco, for example. Rainbow pallets are not my thing. My very very favorite mascara, of life, is Dark Star. Can’t use anything else.

Oh, I love a vid using makeup revisited. It's such fun and very nostalgic to see the products. I'm kinda getting to like the Huetopia palette. I absolutely understand the disappointment surrounding the "what we saw on IG versus what we got". I didn't see the "teasers" on the PM pages so I had no preformed expectation. 💜💜💜💜

I fell into the hype and bought Divine Rose 2, and returned it. I thought the quality was good, but not enough to justify the price considering all the cheaper and better indie singles I have. So I learned my lesson and will likely not buy another Pat McGrath palette.

I never understood the thrill of being first until now!

Som times I find a product in my stash I forgot I have. Excitement because it’s like trying something’s new I too rediscovered the PM original mascara and now wonder why I strayed

I still use the gradient abh blush palette. All four shades I like and I use the Sonia g face Pro brush as I can go in with a heavy hand as shades are deep but on the skin with that brush I can still build if need be.

I am not mad at all about the new mothership's colour story because I don't own ANY mothership ----yet. I am happy with my Divine Rose Eternal Eden Quad for now, but the new mothership "tickles my pickle"😆

That's like angelnaked1 posted the sneak peek of Natatsha Denona cream cheek and eyeshadow glam palette. I was so excited I could barely contain myself. Half the ppl I saw were sayin the same thing. Then I heard from a sneak peek person they didn't like it and others were complaining the same thing how it didn't look glam. How it was the same color story again she always does. That the packaging didn't look luxury. All kinds of things. I was like oh no, well I liked what I saw I'm just a natural nelly and the entire thing took my breath away. Maybe that's just me idk. I do wish she added a bronzer to make this a true face and eye palette. Other than that I was so glad to see something unique and different coming from here we hadn't seen b4. I also hope it's not outrageously expensive 😘

Don’t you just love that Lotus base brush? I have found so many uses for it and my latest is applying cream bronzer. I know you’re not a cream product gal but it blends it so flawlessly! 💕💕 Edit: I never thought to use that large fluffy Sonia brush with the tan palette. I always have to use a very light hand with the bronzer but now I’m going to give the big brush a try.

I said I think this looks like DR1&2 but I love those palettes bc I'm a Natural Nelly. Tho if it's the same shades in the palette pulled from the 2 idk about that bc I'd already have it. If not then heck yeah count me in. I'm always the one feeling dumb for sayin how much I love these Natural tones more everyday use all the time color stories. It really bums me out now everytime something comes out every person I watch on yt says uggghh another Natural palette. I think this is so stupid I'm not interested and u shouldn't be either. Well when they say this I'm like well ur a ytber u review stuff like this so yeah u have it all. Me as a normal consumer not a ytber I don't have it all, not even a fraction of it so yeah I would be intrested in it ya know. You should do your top ten PMG shades not palettes

I have melasma ans I am your same foundation colors I’m so happy I found you I love the video where you tested full coverage foundations on your melasma I’m going to buy the ordinal diamond immediately and I’m your color so I know my colora now anything else good I can put on my skin to lighten my melasma? And does this foundation cover melasma? Because your look a lot lighter

I never hear anyone that uses this foundation. Everyone introduced it and that was that, so that leaves me thinking no one really likes it so I haven’t purchased it. Help me out on your real thoughts on it other than it good on hot days. Thank you

The Same - I don’t think seasons change in countries. Difference is UK gets so much rain, there’s really only a solid week of hot sun. It was pouring rain here yesterday on the 2nd. And rain scheduled tomorrow on the 5th.

It's the red in mothership V that scares me but the rest of it looks nice!

Don’t be scared of the red. Just do one dip with your brush and blend and you can make a really nice soft look with a little bit of depth with that red that looks gorgeous. For reference this is the only Mothership I own but will be getting the new one when it comes out!

I am not a pink lover so Huetopian Dreams is a pass for me not that PMG cares. Plenty of people will buy it even people, who don’t love it. I don’t own any Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows. I only own Divine Rose 2 cause I used my $100 Sephora coupon to buy it. I think I used it once so it is a bit of a waste for me to buy those shades. I think I will save up and buy the Natasha Denona 28 pan palettes on sale. I think they will give me the variety I want. Your beautiful blue ND 5 pan comes from one of those 28 pan collections.

I loved this video. It was great to see you use old favourites. I like you style and your humour and the way you have such a variety of content rather than constantly just buying and reviewing every single new item of makeup that is released as some content creators do. I’m beginning to lose interest in those creators that do that, and have been unsubscribing from a lot of them recently as the emphasis on buying new stuff gets boring after a while. .

In my humble personal opinion, when in the comments almost every person is like PLEASE Pat not another pink palette for the past two palettes and she literally just takes mattes from one divine rose and shimmers from another and is like here you go here’s another pink palette- I think it’s annoying. But maybe the people who are disappointed like me will see the quads for holiday like the last couple of years, maybe she’s holding out on exciting colors for those? Just a thought

I can understand that the colours PM puts in her eyeshadow palettes are the colours she likes herself, and the ones she prefers to use, but they are sorely becoming very repetitive. If just once in a while she did something a little different, it would appeal to a lot more people. She must miss out on a fair bit of revenue because of it 😕.

Pat’s eyeshadow palettes sellout on launch day without fail. In 2019 she became a billionaire makeup line. Not sure she’s missing too much.
