Lmaooo this is why I have sworn off skiing! Living in New England, I have a lot of friends that go on ski trips and they always try to get me to go. One time I went with coworkers and I was so bad my friend had to like coach me down the mountain while he skied backwards cause it was the “easy” slope 🤣 it was traumatic. Meanwhile there’s ALWAYS little children wizzing by at all times. Never again 😂😂 you can find me day drinking instead lol

OMG. I hate heights and slippery snow and I was getting so anxious for you listening to your story. It may seem funny now, but I cannot imagine how scary it was going through it. I would have needed several drinks not a Diet Coke. 😂😂. Your look is perfect as usual. I love that new Dior quint.

I just died laughing. 😂 However, that is not the sort of thing that only happens to you. I went hiking in the mountains with a friend in early spring, so it was still pretty cold. What we didn’t realize when we set off on this trail was that it went over a bunch of mountain ridges and did not loop back around to the starting point. (This was sometime in the early 1990s, so checking out trails on your phone wasn’t a thing. I don’t think I even owned a computer at that point.) Well, we got to the end of the trail and realized we had no idea where my car was or how far we were from it. Oh, and fun fact, it was very quickly getting dark at this point. So we start walking along this winding, extremely dark mountain road in the direction we think my car is. We were about an hour into walking when fortunately an employee of the resort where we were staying drives by us, and we literally hitchhiked back to my car. It turns out we were actually walking in the opposite direction of my car. 😂 We were lucky we didn’t either freeze to death, get murdered by the man who stopped and picked us up, or get attacked by a bear that had just woken up from hibernation, because we had food on us, and no bear spray. 😅

Gorgeous! Love the whole look! And your story was just the giggle needed today. I could totally relate. Having a bunch of super sporty, adventurous skiing friends myself I spent many years freezing my bottom off trying to snowboard, skiing (badly), wiping out (spectacularly), and hanging with the toddlers (mortifying) on the beginner slopes in the vain attempt to keep up. Older and wiser, now I embrace my true inner lodge bunny and cheerfully meet up for lunch or drinks at the BOTTOM of the mountain. Still enjoying the mountain experience while staying warm, looking “cool” and sans snow in my pants. Yay!

Ohh I laughed so hard I was crying at the picture of you popping your head (well not yours but the character’s) over the slope waving, while the hang gliders were taking off!!! Great story telling. Glad you survived❤. Wow we have had the spring collection and the la Blanc collection arrive end of February in Canada and we are always forgotten for collections. I now feel pretty good. They remembered us. Yes to the blush it is pretty. The quad is very nice as well soft pastels but one shade should have been left out. That warm browny one just does not fit. A darker purple would have been nice.

I hated every second of this story. It was brilliant.

I can totally relate to the fear of heights part of this story. I first discovered my fear of heights on a ski-ing holiday with a group of work colleagues (I was the only person who hadn't ski'd before). I went up on a chair lift with an instructor and we had no safety bar across us and I freaked as we went higher and higher above the trees and I convinced myself that insanity would take over and I would jump off. I was also cry-laughing hysterically (and still do this in an outdoor heights situation). We got to the top and I got someone in a ski-doo to take me back down to the bottom where I went to a bar and knocked back a few shots and waited for my competent 'black-run' friends to return hours later. I spent the last 6 days of the holiday in the chalet watching Ricki Lake on TV (it was a new programme at the time) while they went off and enjoyed themselves each day. Very funny video Charlotte and the final look is gorgeous. Prefer the Love shade on you. Very nice Autumnal look

Hi Charlotte! Now you can absolutely and freely go audition for the next James Bond movie (they have to replace him anyway, don’t they). But jokes aside, man, that is blood chilling what had happened to you on the slope, those things are no joke. I am a skier myself and do have a couple of pretty scary episodes up my sleeve, so I can absolutely relate. What you did climbing up that slope is actually pretty heroic. But try not to repeat it, please:)))
