GRWM, life updates since quitting my job, makeup & skincare routine, hang out with me.

Sharing my life with you. Showing that recovery is possible. We can enjoy and be gratefull for even the little things in life. Our past doesn't define us and it's okay to talk about it. Do what you need to do to help you heal. You never know who's heart you'll touch or who you'll help. We are not alone with the dark stuff we've been through and with the things we still go through in recovery. Everything is going to be okay. We can get through it together.

Hey! From someone who bartended and then got sober, I got a job working at a shelter for homeless teens fairly easily and it has been great. I bet you could do it part-time while working online. Not all of them are strict about criminal records and almost all of them will hire people with little/no experience in the field because there is such a big push to hire people who have lived similar experiences as clients. Just an idea because I know most of them have super part-time positions and I know you mentioned you wanted to be a chemical dependent counselor.

There’s are lots of non-medication options to try to fall asleep earlier. Camping is a really good way to reset your circadian rhythms to fall asleep after dark and rise after sunrise. Maybe you can fit that in with visiting your family, take your nieces camping. I sleep best when I do physically exhausting work, like the gym, or yard work, in the evenings. Many people use meditation to fall asleep, that’s really good for shutting your thoughts off for the night. Reading in bed is also good. Also remember that caffeine works a lot longer than people realize so you might benefit from limiting your caffeine to the morning only, especially when setting an earlier bedtime.

Warehouse work is a lot less stressful than customer service. If you find the right one, you will actually look forward to working. Unfortunately, there is no real way to not work, but finding a job you enjoy will completely change your perspective on life. Here's my schedule: I wake up at 3 a.m. (please don't let that scare you, morning shifts have given me the discipline a healthy mind and life needs!) I start work at 5 a.m. I clock out at 3:30p.m. Then I have all day until 8 p.m. to have a life. I work 4 ten hour days. I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I eat a bunch of protein, hydrate all day, and essentially, get paid to work out. Working at a warehouse as a sober person with a new life of responsibilities has made me the happiest I have ever been.

chemist here- antidepressants are NOT addictive, you just form a depenence on them. you will easily be able to taper down in a few weeks, the "withdrawal" happens when you start taking them abruptly, as your body is not used to the change.

It's actually refreshing to see a person in recovery who is on social media, actually live a normal life. They aren't still running around in the same crowd, acting like a hard ass, and blaming their hardships on other people. I'm not judging, trust me, I get that some people can handle that lifestyle without relapsing, but they still subject their children or significant others to that life, and that's not fair. That's what bugs me. If it's just them and no one else that they are risking getting hurt/sobriety, so be it, go for it. I'm just over the drama in the "recovery world of youtube." People come here for the uplifting spirit, advice, love, not the drama. I just want to say thank you for providing that for the people that need it! Keep it up girl. ❤

trust me; what’s breaking you out is all of that fragrance. you’ve got to stop using fragrance … even in your body lotions. use something with diluted essential oils, but even that can be irritating you could also be purging. which just means continue working on your routine and eventually all of the impurities will leave and your face will clear up. i know when you use retinol or salicylic acid, it’s normal to purge

Tina, we don’t know each other but the restaurant world is NEVER going to change. When I first quit partying everyone felt one way but over the years I thought no one liked me anymore and I tried to bartend too. It was hard, the entire industry is toxic and full of addicts. People will always lean more towards them because they are all addicts still. I quit over a year ago and haven’t looked back. It was so hard because I loved restaurant work but it pushed me out. Keep trying! It’s you that has changed and that’s ok!

As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression I find your content soothing, inspiring and helpful 🙏🏽🤗 please take good care of yourself and prioritize yourself during this time, also please don’t put too much pressure on yourself to push out content that might make you feel burnt out, this journey should be on your time and your time only. I genuinely think that leaving a workplace that is only contributing stress and anxiety into your life will improve your quality of live and overall wellbeing 🩷🌟 you are so kind and generous please understand that we see that in everything you do!

I ❤ these videos!! Makes me feel like I’m just chillin with a friend. I don’t want to see the “perfect” house, skin, car, partner, kids….you get the point. That’s not real life which means it isn’t relatable!

Tina, you are so real, encouraging, refreshing and FUNNY! Plz keep it up 💛✨ also! Niacinamide did cause some mild irritation for me. The snail mucin is soothing.

I found getting up super early gives you more out of your day to the point by 11am your done everything and now can sit around and relax. I found doing any type of yoga for 10 mins a day gives you peace with yourself. ❤ stay strong love your videos..
