GRWM, life updates since quitting my job, makeup & skincare routine, hang out with me.
Sharing my life with you. Showing that recovery is possible. We can enjoy and be gratefull for even the little things in life. Our past doesn't define us and it's okay to talk about it. Do what you need to do to help you heal. You never know who's heart you'll touch or who you'll help. We are not alone with the dark stuff we've been through and with the things we still go through in recovery. Everything is going to be okay. We can get through it together.

this was such a sweet comment and i _know_ you can make it through. when i was a teenager sometimes the only thing keeping me going was hope that it would eventually get easier. and you know what? it DOES!
Tina, I'm a 35 yr old recovering meth addict, who is trying to over come a smaller addiction to gabapentin. I've never had a true life because I've been addicted to something since middle school. Your videos are helping me so much and I want to say thank you!! You're truly helping me and it means so very much!! I'm finally trying to get into a sober living and have a life!!

Hey! From someone who bartended and then got sober, I got a job working at a shelter for homeless teens fairly easily and it has been great. I bet you could do it part-time while working online. Not all of them are strict about criminal records and almost all of them will hire people with little/no experience in the field because there is such a big push to hire people who have lived similar experiences as clients. Just an idea because I know most of them have super part-time positions and I know you mentioned you wanted to be a chemical dependent counselor.

This is a good idea. And then if she wanted to go back to school for substance abuse counseling, a lot of community colleges have it. I went back for that and human services at 30 and was surprised FAFSA covered almost all of my 2 years. She would be so wonderful in that role if she wanted.
I would definitely consider writing a book for those who struggle with addiction/drug abuse. Lots of jails could probably start giving people who are trying to rehab from addiction your story and give them inspiration to do better in life!!

I hope you make a decent living on your content. Lots of people are struggling these days including myself, but your story motivates me to do better. I've never been to jail or had an addiction, but I still enjoy watching your content. Keep doing you! Hope you feel better and this all works in your favor.

Idk how I got here but I stayed cause she’s relatable when it comes to just normal ass ppl and not like a luxury ass million dollar house and clothing .. I have no idea about the addiction thing or recovery but I like her personality and knowledge.
Doing what most of us wish we had the guts/means to do. So proud of you girl. You’re an inspiration! ❤

I love your personality! So genuine and down to earth 🌎 💕
There’s are lots of non-medication options to try to fall asleep earlier. Camping is a really good way to reset your circadian rhythms to fall asleep after dark and rise after sunrise. Maybe you can fit that in with visiting your family, take your nieces camping. I sleep best when I do physically exhausting work, like the gym, or yard work, in the evenings. Many people use meditation to fall asleep, that’s really good for shutting your thoughts off for the night. Reading in bed is also good. Also remember that caffeine works a lot longer than people realize so you might benefit from limiting your caffeine to the morning only, especially when setting an earlier bedtime.

I worked at a rehab for years and most of their employee base all the way down from behavioral tech all the way up to therapist was mostly people in active recovery..I think you'd be great at something like that..they all had the same reason why they chose that line of work "it helps to stay clean helping others and being reminded where I was at once". Good luck to you

Warehouse work is a lot less stressful than customer service. If you find the right one, you will actually look forward to working. Unfortunately, there is no real way to not work, but finding a job you enjoy will completely change your perspective on life. Here's my schedule: I wake up at 3 a.m. (please don't let that scare you, morning shifts have given me the discipline a healthy mind and life needs!) I start work at 5 a.m. I clock out at 3:30p.m. Then I have all day until 8 p.m. to have a life. I work 4 ten hour days. I have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I eat a bunch of protein, hydrate all day, and essentially, get paid to work out. Working at a warehouse as a sober person with a new life of responsibilities has made me the happiest I have ever been.

Tina I really think you have so much to offer as a counselor! You have an amazing heart and understand the human condition. Have you ever considered that? I think you have a natural talent to talk to people. Good luck in all you do!
Tina I think your journey online will be a great side hustle but you’re so smart and I want to see you learn a trade or a skill! College would be right up your alley imo. You already know you can hold down a job and bills and that alone is such an accomplishment! You’re growing out of your current job because you’re growing as a person and naturally you want more and there’s bigger and better waiting for you 💕
I love these videos from you. They are really comforting/relaxing and they've really encouraged me to up my skin care 😂 I just turned 36 and I'm still trying to figure out my life, so seeing other people figuring out their lives is encouraging. Thanks for sharing your life with us, it's so very special ❤
after the first short i watched i couldn’t stop! you deserve to relax and enjoy everything life has to offer! you have grown so much. YOU WILL MAKE IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA! ❤
Absolutely adore you!! You have such a kind spirit. Thank you for sharing! Love your stories ❤
Tina so proud of you!! As a fellow recovering addict it can be hard...eveything. Things can pop up even years later. We are all worth it and our sobriety is a testament to how strong willed we are. You should definitely do a scent of the day! I personally am a fan of bath and body works scents but I am always down for some new ideas! Hang in there girl, I know some days are easier than others but you've got this!!
your saving my life.
I like the new lashes a lot better! Looking amazing girly! ❤
chemist here- antidepressants are NOT addictive, you just form a depenence on them. you will easily be able to taper down in a few weeks, the "withdrawal" happens when you start taking them abruptly, as your body is not used to the change.
It's actually refreshing to see a person in recovery who is on social media, actually live a normal life. They aren't still running around in the same crowd, acting like a hard ass, and blaming their hardships on other people. I'm not judging, trust me, I get that some people can handle that lifestyle without relapsing, but they still subject their children or significant others to that life, and that's not fair. That's what bugs me. If it's just them and no one else that they are risking getting hurt/sobriety, so be it, go for it. I'm just over the drama in the "recovery world of youtube." People come here for the uplifting spirit, advice, love, not the drama. I just want to say thank you for providing that for the people that need it! Keep it up girl. ❤
Go you, for knowing when you need to change things up, and for saving up and being prepared. You are an inspiration to me in my recovery journey. Your content helps me greatly. Thanks for helping me not feel so alone in this journey.
Tru 400 mg of magnesium redmonds salt in your water and cutting down your sugar intake this will definitely help your tiredness and walking everyday will help too.Stay strong 😊💗
Tina we would love whatever you want to show us, just watching u having a nice normal day is really empowering to see. U make me realize that my addiction is taking me so much time of my life. this is my second week clean and i feel so restless but watching you gime me soooo much strength! Thanks Tina for showing me that leaving my vices is going to help me on the long run. ❤
You got this girl, do what you need to do! Sending my love!
I wish nothing but greatest for you & the life you are creating for yourself! You got this girl!
trust me; what’s breaking you out is all of that fragrance. you’ve got to stop using fragrance … even in your body lotions. use something with diluted essential oils, but even that can be irritating you could also be purging. which just means continue working on your routine and eventually all of the impurities will leave and your face will clear up. i know when you use retinol or salicylic acid, it’s normal to purge
I love these kinds of vids!! It's so nice seeing u recover 🩷🩷
I’m really proud of you and I really enjoy watching your shorts and videos. They’re very entertaining and you’re an awesome person. ❤
Good for you for knowing yourself enough to take a break before burning out. You're very inspiring ❤
Your one of my favorite people to watch! You’ve really helped me recover from one of my lowest points seeing some go through something and learning that im not alone really helped me! Thank you so much! Im so happy to see you take a break! And I’d really love to see you do a scent of the day series! It’d be really helpful and really love to see it! Thank you so much for helping me! I love you Tina!
I love your videos! You inspire me to keep going as I work on myself dealing with health issues. I feel like I am sitting chilling with a friend watching your videos. I think just doing blogs about your day and doing social media is a gift you have. You inspire and help a lot of people daily.
And yes I love the kinds of videos from you! I like your channel because it's nice to see someone online who is realistic and normal just like the majority of us. I can relate to you a lot and I really like that too. I'm not the addict but you remind me of my mom so much! Some of your stories are very similar to hers. You're helping me to understand her better because she was in and out of jail/prison a lot. In total she spent about 18 years on and off. The experience she had when she was away wasn't ever really talked about and I have wondered. And I'm so happy and proud of you!! Keep at it you're doing a great job!
I wish you the best. Proud of you ❤️
i love your videos so much! you’re one of the only content creators i refresh the page waiting for a post! you’ve come so far and you are so beautiful, thank you for sharing your story🩵
Tina, we don’t know each other but the restaurant world is NEVER going to change. When I first quit partying everyone felt one way but over the years I thought no one liked me anymore and I tried to bartend too. It was hard, the entire industry is toxic and full of addicts. People will always lean more towards them because they are all addicts still. I quit over a year ago and haven’t looked back. It was so hard because I loved restaurant work but it pushed me out. Keep trying! It’s you that has changed and that’s ok!
If you’re ready for a nap around 7/8pm, maybe try to exercise a lil bit around 6:30ish!! During lockdown was the only time I was ever really exercising and I had *so* much more energy. It might help going to bed earlier too! I slept like a baby lol. Gotta get back to it…😬
This is so great to see. I have been following you for a while watching you grow, and your story is amazing. I work night shifts so I understand the fatigue that comes with nights. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes you. My favorite thing about you is your humble attitude and how genuine and sweet you are. Your hometown roots shine through. :)
You are so genuine. I hope you can keep going with this. You are a KZread bestie. 💕
Your so kind! I really hope you find something that inspires you. I personally think social media is your thing!
Love this video a lot! I feel very comforted. I think, most of the time, the value creators provide is themselves. Your self is easy to love. Thank you !!!!! 3 yrs sober and dont have any sober friends this is exactly what i need
Love that you’re growing ! That’s what you’re supposed to do !
I loved the vlog! And I feel that restlessness!! I left my super stressful job and decided to take a break to be funemployed and it’s so difficult to relax and slow down once you finally get the chance. I’m sure with time you’ll find fun ways to occupy your time! I personally gravitated towards reading more and spending time outdoors since both were rather inexpensive for me (public libraries & parks/beaches/hiking trails/etc), but I have faith you’ll find what’s fun for you soon enough :)
I have to say I love how real and honest you are... Like I literally feel like we are friends and can talk everyday!!!! Thank you for being so open with your story and life.... you are AMAZING!!!
I love watching these after work, it’s like hanging out with your bestie at a sleepover :) your accent is the best btw I could listen to you talk all day
