Hi Patti:). I thought both looked equally the same:) Really makes me wonder about makeup-confusing and I still don’t understand when I’m supposed to apply the sunscreen?? There is so much controversy about what sunscreens to use too-idk-seems like zinc oxide is the safest but I can’t imagine putting makeup on over that? Do you have any suggestions? I have a MAC foundation that really gives nice coverage and it doesn’t even feel like I have anything on but I don’t wear makeup everyday. After all this time watching you I finally tried Makeup Geek matte shadows and I actually succeeded in a nice look and they didn’t make my eyes burn but I’ve tried all kinds of mascara and immediately my eyes burn-does anyone have a suggestion for a good mascara? Would appreciate any feedback:). Your house looks nice and very homey:). Does Biscuit like it there?? Would love to see him in the yard-hardly ever see him-he is just the cutest dog:). TFS 👍😊💕🌼🌻

Living in a town of over 100,000 population. I went to DG this morning with my lists and found they only had nail polish in the Believe brand. I am past 90 years old but still like doing a appropriate makeup. Patti, enjoy your videos. Blessings in your lovely new home.

I’ve used eyeshadow on my eyebrows for years. Now I’ve lost nearly all my eyebrow hair (I’m 66), I draw them on with a brow pencil, soften them with a spoolie, and then set it with eyeshadow. Works for me!

I had a very eccentric friend that always wore just one earring. It was her trademark along with the color orange. She was a fabulous pianist who recently passed away. Thanks for reminding me of this fabulous lady.

Would have never even thought of buying make up in Dollar General. Now I am going shopping. Thanks for this video

Be careful with Dollar General Store makeup. I had read online that their off brands are believed to have toxic ingredients ( example: lower levels of lead ), especially the eye shadows/lipsticks. Of course, I'm sure high end isn't quite pure.

Patty after purchasing so much higher end makeup the past couple of years I’m finding I’m going back to the drugstore brands and am just as happy with that I wore nothing but drugstore my whole life till I became a widow thinking I was missing out or something well I wasn’t , funny another lesson learned! Love your vids! ❤️

Once again I could not tell the difference. Putting other foundations up against Lancôme is tough. The Teint Adole is one very nice foundation. The end result looked stunning. You are such a beautiful lady. Great video! ❤

Believe Beauty has been out about 2-3 years now, I think. And their Foundation is one of my holy grails. The primers & the powder is alright too. They have a cream blush that's good too, I only have one color but I would like to pick up more colors.

hi, what color foundation do you use. I bought the ivory. Although I have dark hair my skin is light so I always buy a lighter foundation. Not sure if others do the same. Maybe I should go darker but I'm not sure🌺💕🌺

I mess up my earrings so bad that it's embarrassing. One time I filmed Instagram stories with one earring hanging from another earring and didn't realize it. !!! I had never heard of this brand!!! It sounds pretty nice. Loved this! xox, Melissa

Hi Patti, I understand about wearing two different earrings be because I had two different shapes of some lovely cubic zirconium earrings and lost one so I have worn the two different ones as a set. I also had to go to see a attorney one day years ago and after I left I noticed I had on two different high heels.Some time thats the way it goes. Just the other day I babysat for my grandchildren when I got there my husband started to laugh, I looked down at my feet and realized that I had on two different color sandals. 🤣

Don’t panic I’ve done this before! That’s my new line to my passengers as I drive through Atlanta traffic!😳😁

I love the Believe Foundation! I used Clinique or Ester Lauder for years but it stopped doing it for me as I aged. Believe gives just enough coverage but looks moist and I put it on with a damp makeup sponge. Pro tip: I lay a tissue on my face and gently blot once to keep it from being too glowy. Then I don’t have to powder-which is a good way to avoid line settling. I also love the Kosas concealer for under my eyes. I skip primer because I’ve never found one that suits me.; they all settle in my lines. Finally, Allie Glines raves about Believe.

Ur gorgeous no matter what u use, but I’m impressed with the Believe cosmetics. I had never heard of it before. I’ll definitely try out a few things from the line. Thanks for sharing it! 😊

As you were putting in the Lancôme side, it looked creamier but after you put everything on I would not be able to tell which side was which if I didn’t know.

I wear different earrings all the time. I love gold earrings and have the luck of always losing one. Since many of my earrings are gifts and a bit expensive and I love them I mix them with others that I only have one of. I'm a disabled,senior on a very tight fixed income.I've mainly used drug store make-up over the yrs..The Dollar Tree beauty items.I like their cosmetics,still pretty cool with many name brands i used to love. Nice! Well,some yrs ago i discovered HSN home shopping channel! I tried the Bare Mineral foundation. Lovely!! I felt so special - trying this as a treat for turning 60! i got acouple Fancy Lancome anti-aging,Toning skin care line. @$200 for all,+ i used the Flex-pay option.Cool,right? But the Best Item with the Toners+wrinkle lifters....didnt work Any better than the Oil of Olay basic skin care lotion...ugh i was so bummed! That fancy twister bottle Stopped turning @ 1/2 way through the bottle! $125 for that was a waste.I called Lancome. I'm French so i thought the call would be smooth,easy.Nope,no way. I could not get past the Recept to speak with Cust.Service! I tried many times over a few mos time..She was Rude,condiscending.I Couldnt get a replacement or refund tho i did have my original receipt.(I save all receipts out of habit.I wont buy anything else from a company that is rude when i can go Around the Corner + purchase something from a Friendly place!) idk Ladies,i feel when we reach a certain age,raised our families +then some... Helped our Community also- We deserve Some Respect! I Give respect/,kindness+ I expect it in Return. Oh the sunscreen.I think it should Always go on before foundation.If you use primer first,sunscreen should be next.Then Contour (if you use it),then Foundation,blush ,highlighter +Viola! Well protected+Lovely!

That was true of the prescription product Latisse but have never heard that about over-the-counter serums. I've been using them for years, including $$$ Latisse, and my green eyes are still green.

I have used many different lash serums. A couple of the high end brands stung my eyes, and none of them made my eye color darker, But the Latisse did darken my dark circles.

I was told by a sales clerk at my local DG that the Believe line is for dark skin people rather than a paleface. I have tried some eye shadows and lipsticks in the past. Worked great on my pale freckled face.

I’m 59 and bought the Believe foundation and am pleasantly surprised! I love for the money! Good coverage and once I set it I’d say it lasted a good 8-9 hours on my normal / oily skin! Love you as usual

I have been using the Believe foundation,blush,mascara for almost a year, Love it and I'm 71. I will have to get the shadow palette you used. Love watching you and you do a good job with your makeup. Love ya

I love Believe make-up and heard about it from Emily - she's so genuine and honest! I have many palettes, but the Plush Purples eyeshadow is my daily choice! I'm 57 and I also use the eyeliner, foundation, bronzer, cream blush, sponge and brushes from this line. They are amazing! I'm not an expert on skincare, but I've actually researched about the suncreen- primer order. It supposedly depends on whether you wear mineral or chemical sunscreen as to the order. If you wear chemical, the primer goes on top. If you wear mineral, the sunscreen goes on last as it lays on the skin for sun protection. This is the consensus from all that I researched. I really enjoy your videos and think you are a sweet, genuine, beautiful person ❤ Bless you.

So,now I don't wear it on my whole face and Believe is the best I've tried.I always get compliments. Have used Believe foundation for about eight months now, and I absolutely love it. I am like you I just turned 80 end of always cared about my looks and tried new make up and I love this brand and I also love your show.

I like to wear a hat with a wide brim. Sometimes I use an umbrella; it depends on how hot it is. The umbrella keeps the sun off very well. I use a moisturizer with sunscreen also. When it is over 90 degrees I like to use the umbrella. Love your videos, Patti.

Keep in mind that UV rays bend and are getting you even under an umbrella. A good sunscreen is your best defense!

It's 2AM and I'm ready to listen to a new friend I find quite amusing and makes me feel better... I know it's the woman chat thing, but love to listen, laugh and learn as we journey through this amazing time in our lives. 🌺🌴 Some times we just have to laugh... However because I am older, 72 at last count, I find my Lancôme lasts a little longer & doesn’t settle into my wrinkles quite as much. This is the one product I feel is worth the splurge for me. I love my good old staples and I always end up going back to them: Maybelline Dream Satin, Aveeno everything, Loreal Voluminous mascara, Ponds creams, wintergreen alcohol, and Atra II razor blades. If I am stressed, just a warm cloth and reapplication of my Maybelline foundation is soooooo soothing and calming. I even keep a grab bag with these things in it just in case I have to go to the hospital.

I was going to suggest powdering your lips before you put on lipstick. I do that and use a long wearing lipstick and it will last through meals!!! I turned 60 this year and am happy to have made it.
