Weird my trainer said to put the half pad on the saddle pad🤔 but it's really cute!

Trainer is right. Those Pads should be on the saddlepad because of the Material it pulls on the hairs of the horse. 😊 Love the girls way of handling though :) clearly loves the horse so maybe she will Change it. 😊

@@robingroeneweg3709jelly ones like this are also made to keep the saddle from slipping. My horse needs them and if their on the saddle pad their doing nothing. They shouldn’t bother the horse if your grooming right too, and if your cleaning the pad.

He is so gorgeous and you handle him so nicely but just remember the half pad goes above the saddle pad especially is it’s a gel one like in this video. Just because gel half pads rub against the horses skin when it’s exposed to the horses back while your riding. This can result in hair loss and minor rubber burning.

I use that rubber half pad too 😂 I love it mainly because it's squishy and I can hang it up anywhere because of the adjustable holes. But I put it on the saddle pad as it can be uncomfortable for the horse and also rub on their backs it's under the saddle pad. Just an idea.

If it goes on the horse under the pad it can rip out the horses hair that it needs or isn't read to be shed yet, so I would put it on the saddle pad and not under😊

My apologies, I'm not trying to be rude here, but isn't the half pad supposed to go on top of the saddle pad? Or is that one different?

sometimes it’s personal preference with the gel kind of half/wither pad. or in shows sometimes people do that bc the pads aren’t aesthetically pleasing.

Yes most half pad go on top. This is a gel pad cause the saddle slips with him so this helps keep it stable.

​@@MHPEquestrianyou probably hear this too much but I wanted to point out that the half pad should go on the pad because it is rubber or silicon I'm not sure but the material can pull out the horses hair that isn't ready to be pulled out and it can make your horse uncomfortable or it can pinch the hair on your horse. It's kind of the same feeling when your ponytail is too tight and it's pulling on one singular hair on the back of your neck. (Thank-you for reading, this isn't hate at all just pointing something out, have an amazing day/night😊)

You put the rubber half pad on TOP of the saddle pad. The rubber is going to rub their fur and skin.

Wait a beautiful pair ☺️ Just an small advice - please close the halter properly. I've seen many horses suffering from eye injury because they shook their heads and got the metal thing in their eyes 😔 It's just a tiny adjustment for you but can save the pony's eyes ☺️

Just a tip: run up your stirrups as leaving them down when your not on the horse is a safety hazard as they can get caught.

This is not hate but a little tip it might be Easier for when your doing the girth ti have your stirrups rolled up as it’s easy then having to move them and then you can easily roll them down to the correct length ❤ Love the horse And remember this is *not* hate it’s just advice
