I'm happy to read this comment. As someone who is light skin I always found it weird that in black family shows the daughters and wives are mostly light. This is colorism at it's finest. The brother and father however can be hella dark but somehow They don't like a dark skin actress to play the role of daughter or wife. I like being represented in the media but not as a fetish and not at the cost of my dark skin sisters. We should all be equally represented.
