You are going to absolutely love it. Personally, 8th grade was my favorite. I am going to be a freshman for the 2023-2024 school year. Try to make the best memories, even if the kids aren't your favorite. I wish you the best and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Make lots of fun and warm memories!!

for any upcoming 6th graders; youll do just fine. it is a big transition but it isnt as bad as it seems, for me i loved it tons and wish i could replay the whole year again. coming from a upcoming 7th grader. tips; be yourself, dont let others come down on you for being your own person. have your own personality! DRESS HOW YOU WANT!!! dont dress how others dress js cause its in style. dress how you want, if someone comments a mean thing ignore them! their js someone who brings others down for no absolute reason. STUDY!! make sure to do your homework and assignments! even if its not homework still do it, it will help you understand that topic more, and keep your grades up! they dont need to be perfect but atleast keep them up cause that is important! keep your environment organized. it will be helpful for finding things. keep your locker, binder, or backpack clean, it will make you feel alot more neat and refreshed! dont overdue it for the first day. for my girlies; try to keep the makeup minimal! mascara, highlighter, concealer, and blush is just fine! even just a little lipgloss will do it. try to wear something casual but cute, not a crop top or shirt short shorts! your a 11 year old, your way to young for that. a cute t-shirt, shorts or jeans will do it. if yiur gonna wear rings, keep it minimal as well!! 2 or 3 will do it. for jewelry, maybe a necklace or two and bracelets!! make sure to keep a routine up for morning and night. if you wanna smell good, try to brush your teeth frequently, wear deodorant, and add a body mist. again for my girlies, try to keep a emergency girl kit on you, around this time, your hormones are gonna start, including periods. for your kit try to bring; deodorant (incase you forgot or have gym) a body mist, a tide pen( stains happen!!) makeup(mascara, concealer, even maybe a blush and a highlighter, js incase you need to touch up or you are in a rush!!) than ofc, pads and tampons(youll never know!). always ask questions, the only way hiw youll get the answer is to ask the teacher. and again, youll do amazing boo!!
