Grumichama (Eugenia brasiliensis) var Erythrocarpa (Red) & Leucocarpa (Yellow) + Dwarf itaguahiensis
Some information about these rare fruit trees that can be grafted, rooted from cutting, airlayered, and fruited in pots or greenhouses. Very strong trees, resisting freezes down to 25F in FL, and heat over 100F. Flood tolerant as well. Included in this video is E. itaguahiensis, a dwarf species of Grumixama that is still quite rare.

I saw a big one recently in a guys backyard in Brandon it is gorgeous. I purchased a small one from him. He said it is a slower grower but can handle the cold.

Soul brother! Loved this raw and full of leading edge knowledge. Just got the yellow and dwarf! And jaboticabamiami had 100 grumicha seeds available so I put them all in pots today. Will see what happens. How big of pot do they need to be to fruit?

I've lost a mature purple fruit type tree (5ft tall) to standing water that stayed for 3 weeks :(
