Going HH versus human is probably the worst he could do as well. Get Defend and suddenly your firepower and burrows are useless while he enjoys extra income.

@@eugenekhoo990 HH is totally fine. As soon as you have FS 3 + TC footies are worthless. Chaemiko just played super aggressive and his micro was sooo good.

Hey grubby love the continued WC3 content for all us 90s rts nerds, as usual👍. Have you played Battle for Middle Earth? It’s a really nice midway point between aoe and total war. A “unit” is an entire regiment, albeit smaller than a total war regiment, but each soldier still retains an individual health bar. There are heroes also, however, and it’s set in the LotR universe. They did a really great job with it if I do say so myself. Battle for Middle Earth 2 is the one to play; it’s basically the chosen refinement of the same game as frozen throne was for reign of chaos.

For skirmish but not campaign, I dont know if I'd call it refined. I found it to be really boring in comparison to 1 that has all the important and fun events and sieges while 2 was just so lame

@@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi I loved the second ones’ campaign because it gives you the entire perspective of the events that take place during the same time as the books but for the other characters and storyline parallel to the known story; Glorfindel, Gloin (Gimli’s dad and a character from the hobbit), King Dain, etc. especially loved seeing the battles around Erebor post-hobbit. There aren’t really dwarves at all in the LotR trilogy besides the dead of Moria, so the second game shows you where they all are in their masses fighting elsewhere during Frodo’s journey.

@@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi admittedly dwarves are my favorite so.I can see how it might be “boring” in general.. I always had more fun playing 2v2s in multiplayer with coordinated teams for thematic purposes.

@@lightweightjive It was a gigantic downgrade honestly, before you had a world map with different sniplets of the movie, great introductions and always an overview as well as the most important battles that then shifted to "boring side content" with noone of the original campaigns qualities or what made it unique...Although it was fun having Sauron all of a sudden. But that was about it for me. It just was a downgrade to me in every aspect, I dont mind the factions themselves and some of the systems but they took the good stuff out too so it was only good for multiplayer which I never played or skirmish which got boring after a bit

Is reforged good now? Its still like 30-40 bucks. Was super stoked on it as i barely remember wc3 campaign and never played multiplayer growing up but then it got dumped on when released so never got it

It still got its fair share of problems, but its 50% off right now. If you enjoy custom maps & campaigns, its worth it imo. Modders probably got the most out of reforged, due to new scripting natives, lua support, increased file limits, etc. If you just want to replay the story campaigns, i'd get a pre-reforged version. Tried to replay the campaign recently in reforged and got hard locked 2 times...

First game wouldn't spikes and reinforced burrows stop that attack?

A quick google shows around 480k average in ottawa, 400k in Stockholm. A castle, I think not.

Has anyone worked out what the high speed actions are that Grubby does at the start? Is it an exploit? Is he queuing up actions for resources?

Most of it is a warm up. Microing 4 peons gives you about 90% of gold income instead of 80% but you get 1 more on wood. He has a command in his channel for this with a nice full info on why :) It's not an exploit per se.

Is it just me that love to see grubby losing its much more fun to learn

Hi @Grubby. This Human player "Chaemiko" is a very talented player & played you very well. I was a little disappointed in how you bowed out of that game as you were also playing quite well. What happened to "Grubby Fighting"? In some commentary on your youtube channel you were discussing whether 2023/24 grubby could beat 2003/04 Grubby. On that performance, 2003/04 Grubby would have won I think, & easily. I would like to see you defeat Chaemiko, & believe you can. Maybe a shredder instead of an expo next time while you have the tech advantage. In a nutshell, he beat you with an Archmage & footies. ^^ 2003/2004 Grubby would not accept losing to that. ^^ LOL 😛

Grubby knows human is going to fast expo, he arrives as human is mid creeping and the miltia revert back to peasants and even then he can't stop him. This need rebalancing. Human is too strong

Just check any of last lyn game vs sok or fortitude (who are much better than chaemiko), they always end up demolish ... Lyn do not harass, he creep fs lvl 3 and then make a big push and do a lot of damage at the eco , goes back, get tc to 3 and push again . Grubby is outdated in term of meta regarding fast expand counter, but hey, grubby is playing other games and do not practice compared to pro human player so its kinda normal . Nothing to do with the balance

have to agree though, game sounds truly are a tad too loud imo

Against UD Forti is undisputable top 1 but against Orcs I think the top 3 are interchangeable.

It pains me so much when you have so much time to either move the unit away or cancel the building with enough time in advance, but you wait until the very last millisecond for no reason or benefit, and it dies...

Your comment is unbeleivably stupid. Do you even know how WC3 works? Grubby had *zero* chance of winning game at that point. He was 1 base Vs 2 bases, lower level heroes and Chaemiko's tier 2 tech had finished and he was about to obliterate Grubby with mass caster army. Game 110% unwinnable.
