    Adoption is an option. If she decides to do that there should be no judgment. Having a baby is not glamourous. It is a lot of work. It is disruptive. Either her parents are going to help her with the baby or she will have the baby there at the house with the roommates. The girls and Vivek are not ready to have their lives turned upside down with a newborn. It's a lot to think through and consider.

    Adoption is an option but pure hell. That's the problem towards it and society becomes more and more messed up. Anna is willing to help and be supportive . So is Jas and Sky . That isn't a problem and even then there is daycare and programs that colleges also put out for pregnant women and mothers . Babies also sleep a lot so no it isn't that much . There are also baby monitors for both sight and hearing . Watching a baby honestly isn't hard at all and depending on how the kid personality is then a toddler is most likely hard rather than a baby .

    I like Ana's optimism, but she's still not the one who has to gestate the baby. It was Nomi's decision to keep the baby as in bring it into the world. Adoption should still be an option to discuss at this stage. Doesn't even have to be a closed adoption, she could choose parents willing to have an open adoption to maintain a relationship with the birth parent.

  • @vixendreamer

    @vixendreamer

    Yes, adoption doesn't have to mean never see the child again. It can be whatever the birth parent and adopted parents decide between them. To the child, that's just another adult who cares about them and they can never have too many of those.

    I feel as if Zoey is still a little closed minded. It's like shes thinking "how will this affect me" and putting those concerns on nomi. It can show everyone's friendship dynamic and yeah, you can argue that the charcaters are there just for zoey's story to move along and that's your opinion. But they too are main characters and it's evident that we want to get to know them more. They are letting the show explore the friendship dynamic more, and not just have Zoey in the middle discussing her problems and her problems only. Plus They write her character to be a little self-centered and to be in her own world a lot.

    @Cameryn Marrow definitely. That's solid advice Zoey gave there. Nomi kinda makes it seem like it's an unwanted obligation she needs to commit to albeit begrudgingly. Children can feel when they're not unwanted. Sometimes the responsible thing is to give the child to someone who wants a child with all their being. Don't know how others might view it as self-centered. Also adoption doesn't necessarily mean that you never see the child again. There's open adoption and some adoptive parents even let the birth parents keep contact with the child.

    I don’t feel a baby is the same thing as taking responsibility for your actions. This is a huge change to your entire life. It’s not something that you have to deal with. Ana is annoying me. Its all well and good to talk about keeping a baby when your not the one pregnant. Nomi would be abandoning her child or pushing her mistake on someone else. She would be choosing to find a solution she thought would be best for everyone involved. Where does Ana get off acting like it'll be a breeze, i doubt shell be getting up at 3 a.m. when the baby is teething, or trying to take a test when you baby is at home with a fever. Magazines and tv make it seem like a no brainer being a super mom but it's hard, back breaking, full time, life time work.

    She should keep the baby. College is temporary, but adoption is permanent. Her heart wants to keep the baby and she will regret it if she doesn’t. Plot wise, I really hope she keeps it. That being said I have to roll my eyes at Nomi, because her obstacles aren't really much of anything. Oh no, I'll have parents that will support me. Im sorry but they all suck! Its those very conversations that make it hard for teen moms. Everyone telling you that you shouldn't keep your child. What happened to women empowerment. Being a mom is hard but wonderful. I hope the writers agree to let her keep her baby and graduate college

    Those so many pros and cons to this situation. If she does keep the baby hopefully she can maintain an education and being a mom. But after having the baby her bond with tht baby will never leave her. If was to give it up for adoption she could find a way where whoever adopts the baby they can allow Nono to visit and see the baby and maybe she could get her baby back after she graduates

    I just realized how different our African culture is from Americans I mean really different u made a mistake but don't want to Bear the consequences if ur actions because ur future is more important. Something u didn't think of during your actions. We quickly want to pass the responsibility to someone else using others needs as an excuse. While u should instead look for a way to fix that mistake by accepting our faults and making sure we do everything possible to fix it or make it right

    Tbh she could still go full time. She actually has the resources. But I think the show wants to bring awareness to the issue and hope we don't get wrapped up in that point.

    @@tiaraw872 That's true. That's probably why they don't mention it. To make it more relatable. But its a little wierd when they do things inconsistent with the storylines they previously had. Like everyone knows Nomi comes from a wealthy family. Most of the people onm this situation don't have money or resources. I get the message though

    @KuroiNeko she doesn't _know_ that she's unfit. She's scared, and understandably so. If anything that suggests that she's looking at the situation with the seriousness it deserves. _Zoey_ is looking for an easy cop out, and isn't even bold enough to own it.

    Having a baby is challenging but it's possible to continue life and be a good parent. It would be interesting to actually see that reality on television. Frankly tho, people need to stop having sex and acting like a baby can't come out of it. Get it together. If you're ready for sex then you should be ready to take care of a baby unless you're sterilized.

    What are we even talking about? She looks like she is six months pregnant the baby is basically formed now she thinks it is time to consider a abortion. I am pro life but if you wanted get one it should not be so farther along where the child could feel so much pain.
