THANK YOU for saying the thing about learning your language, speak whatever language(s) you want to your kids, it really means A LOT for you saying that because I remember being shamed for wanting to know Tagalog, (and classmates with Spanish)

Great video. Getting to know you better learning where you grew up/how you grew up. Awww, baby/little boy Jaycation was a cutie pie.🤗 Agree, the more languages you know the better. Growing up in a Mexican American household as a kid spoke more Spanish than English but by the time I grew up mostly spoke English, including my parents before they passed. My Mom had an English/Spanish dictionary because she couldn't remember some words in Spanish. Personally I speak Spanglish. LOL You didn't fail French, you got a D, that's passing, or have the rules changed? Slurpees, yummy. Mix Coke with cherry and get a cherry Coke. As a kid money was tight so eating at McDonald's or Pizza Hut was a treat. Love those individual pizzas they sell at Target and at the airport. Looks like my niece and nephews will also be attending Mira Mesa High in the future. Go Marauders!!

Shrink: Jay tell me about your childhood, start when you were in pre-school. Jaycation: let me show you this video j/k this was really cool! You have a great memory. You know, I remember my mom telling me a story that a pre-school teacher told her that Alan and I had a slight accent, i swear same story. My parents are from the Former Soviet Union (now Ukraine). I agree with you, if any pre-school teacher said that today in NYC, ohhhhhhhh boy.

Regulators haha. It got stuck in our van and we went on a 3 hour drive listening to that song over and over. My dad was like “what’s a homie?”

Nice video Jaycation! Always nice to go down memory lane. I grew up in National City. So every summer my family and I go to SD for vacation, and I always have to stop by my old neighborhood and do the same. Kids aren’t as excited as me though. 😆

I went to Serra in Tierrasanta which has the same campus as Mira Mesa High except their colors are brown and yellow instead of blue. I heard that the two school's colors were originally supposed to be the other way around!
