I love my Mexican culture! 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
The sad thing is that, most indigenous people are losing their culture due to the hatred of other Mexicans who think they are better. 😢

Victor Garcia this is very true sadly. I was always made fun of at school for looking "India" and it was worse since my background is from Oaxaca. A lot of Mexican would tell me "you know Mexicans don't like people from Oaxaca".

Dora B I have a family who loves their indigenous roots...well whenever they mention it to me they always seem to be proud and say a lot of positive things.

that's not true, there are towns everywhere in Mexico where people don't speak Spanish at all, they speak their native tongue. there are more indigenous speakers in Mexico than anywhere in the Americas, I think Peru is up there too. as far as hatred, people are conditioned to think that anything that is european is progress. just remember to do your part to keep the ancestors proud

+carmslopez that can't be true because when I visit my parents home state I have friends that are super native looking and nobody treats them differently. those people that told you that were just haters
she is beautiful!
I remember being five years old and taken to Mexico to visit my grandparents and literally the thing that stuck out the most was the Danza. I had never seen anything like that before growing up in Michigan. There isn't a community around me of my culture so watching them dance and learning more about my background was a nice thing

Hey I'm Mexican, recently moved from California to Michigan! My name is Xochitl. I don't see a lot of my people here.

I liked this but there was very little information provided it needs to be longer and more informative.
My ancestor is Moctezuma the 2nd im a dancer too and i have respect for this girl. She is a true hero of my grandfathers culture (moctezuma) and the people of the aztec empire and modern day mexico.
Absolutely loved this!! I have sangre mestiza from this hemisphere. This is my roots, my people. (I have Native American : US & Mexico/Central) , South & Inuit).

Why was this so short??
Song name at 0:32
First comment 😊
"Aztec" 🥴
So many Mexicans claim they have sangre Azteca but y'all arent even sure.
Way too short and didn’t talk about the importance our culture places on dancing for prayer.
This vid is lacking.
I was an Aztec dancer when I was 7 but I never kept it up. So sad I would have loved to do it now
