I'm in LOVE with Sunpatiens! I found enough this spring to design a flowerbed by my entry. They just glow.

I enjoy your focused, one topic videos. This one is great in how much information you give us! I'm definitely going to try Sunpatiens this year. Zone 5, so not quite time to plant annuals, but soon. I've been going back and watching the one topic videos and the one on peony culture with an audience is terrific. Would love to visit and hear you talk about plants.

I always add 2 inches of rocks in the bottom of my pots, this helps with drainage but also helps keep the pot up right during thunderstorms

Love these. One plant will fill a 17 gallon rope handle tote. Love the way they have two different colors between the new and fading blooms.

I grew Sunpatiens last year for the first time. I put them in pots and windowboxes in 3 different areas of my garden and they were happy wherever I put them. I will say that the ones on timed drip irrigation were a bit happier than the ones further out in the yard which sometimes had to remind me they were thirsty. Lasted until November here in Alabama. I have recommended them to everyone and planted them again this spring in my own garden.

Thanks Allen!! Sunpatiens are my absolute favorite. Holds up even in hot 9 A Florida scorching afternoon sun, as long as you keep them watered, they will flourish. And I love the compact version , last year was the first year that I tried those. As much as I love many of them to overflow, the compact version is great for smaller containers !! Nice round mound!!! You how big they will get that can be helpful and even in certain spots of the yard I plant them and I know they’re not going to over take a small space. I will plant the regular ones in large containers in certain areas and I know they’re just going to grow tall and wide and huge and I love that as well I never met a sunpatiens I didn’t love and I found the most beautiful lavender color last year, and I got out early and found some this year and put them in my two huge iron turns on each side of my garage they’re so showy. Yours are beautiful I want I love how you use them and all your areas I love the way you use your white ones in your circle. Thank you as always have a lovely day and a wonderful summer

I'm in Georgia and I planted them in the ground 2 weeks ago and the leaves have turned a brown color. I am in full south facing sun. They are getting bigger and I am watering daily. Is the browning of the leaves a normal occurrence once they have been planted with heavy sun?

True. I'm in west TN. 8a. Full sun is ok for these if they are in a northeast-facing bed, and only get a couple of full sun hrs. The rest of the day is bright daylight, but not full sun.
