GROWING OUT MY PIXIE CUT: How I Style My Short Hair Messy & Pushed Back
♥ In today's video, I show you guys how I style my hair pushed back now that I am growing it out. It's super simple and doesn't require a lot of effort (for me). Remember that we all have different kinds of hair and textures, so what works for me might not work for you. With that said, I really do recommend the Osis Dust It powder. It is so awesome to work with and I'll keep using it as long as my hair is relatively short. You can use it when you have long hair as well hehe, but when I personally have long hair I rarely style it to have a lot of volume.

Since she hasn't answered, I thought I would offer a suggestion or two. I have found gel on damp hair works the absolute best and is least expensivd. You can run a brush thru it lightly when dry to soften the look then spray hair spray to hold. Also, Living Proof Styling Paste ks great...www.livingproof.com/style-lab/forming-paste/02232.html

As someone who's constantly trying to tame their wavy/curly hair with a short haircut, THANK YOU! I came here for the tattoo design video but got hooked 'cause of this.
I've been growing mine out too... It's a journey! Lol I put on a headband a lot of the time... It's my version of a ponytail

It took me 4 yrs to grow my pixie. It was super short and then I grew it out to past my chest. But it was so unhealthy in the end I chopped 6 inches off. It's still pretty long but I'm thinking I want to go back to the pixie again. Basically because when I had the really long hair I never did anything with it. But when I had a pixie I loved messing with it.
Ahhh, perks of having straight hair... I have to get my pixie recut every 1-2 months, because once it gets longer, it starts to wave and curl in unflattering ways 😆 But yours looks super cool!!

I absolutely love your hair here, the color is perfection and the style is so chic!!! It really suits your face shape/bone structure. Really wish I could pull this off myself!
thank god i found your grow out/pixie cut videos! I've been trying to grow out my undercut pixie for YEARS and i always end up shaving it again. thanks for sharing this!
Okay, you're adorable and so helpful! I have a new pixie and I'm growing out my crown, so giving me inspiration and helping me to understand how to work my hair is great
Wow that hair cut, the way you style your hair, it’s perfection 💗
I love your eye makeup , should do a video on that !
If you are young, pretty & and your makeup looks wonderful - doesn’t matter what your hair looks like
So happy I found your channel! I am growing out my pixie cut, just colored it again after having it grey. You are giving me great inspiration - thank you!
I got pixie haircut a couple of months ago but with the quarantine, this the only thing I can do at the moment without ruining my hair by cutting it myself or using a headband 🙄😆 thank you for sharing 💙

Oh my God your hair is absolutely fabulous from the scalp to the lenght, colour, movement and everything about It its Just so perfect :D
i got a pixie cut yesterday and this was so, so helpful!! i’m still a little unsure on it as i’ve no idea what to do with it!!
soo happy I found this video i am on the same boat in between my hair is growing and I have super thick hair thanks so much.
I’m at this stage, but if my hair looked like yours I’d keep it where it is. You’re beautiful. Love your ink, as well. 🔥
Your Pixie Cut looks so great on you❤️🌚
Love this style! Stunning on you. Would love my hair to do that before t I’ve got to much wave.
Your hair looks so good!🔥
you look so STUNNING with bob and with pixie
I think the wax for sides & back works pretty well. Emphasizes volume thru crown & top.
This is the video I’ve been searching for for 3 years!!! (That pink hair in my pic has been long 😭 long gone)
So cool! I used in my hair too. Great texture
I'm growing mine out for the 6th time in 4 years 😄 If I may add a suggestion for the blow out part , take your 'fringe shape' lightly tie a bobble round it's middle part , so it looks like a little lop sided water fountain , and leave it for a while to dry on its own , that's how you get BIG poufy , dont tie the bobble tight , it will leave a band line , but just enough to give the roots volume , I move my bobble up every so often , depending on how poufy I want my front section (see photo) . Hope that helps ❤
Love your hair and makeup!
I wish mine would go like that, I love that style
This is where im at.im trying to grow it out yes thank you for the video
Omg. My hair is just like yours right now. It's thick and my styling routine is 1. Run brush through wet hair. 2. Flip head back after it dries. I HATE styling. 😬 I have been trying to style it back for awhile now but don't know the best way. Thank you for this video!!
Så bra tips med saltvattenspray! Ska testa det 😀
Which false eyelashes are you wearing in this video? They're STUNNING!
My hair is the same length as yours, covers almost the entirety of my ears. I recently made a huge mistake of cutting my long bangs into short blunt ones straight across my forehead. Without styling them back to the side, I look like I got a helmet head jdvrjf
Ooh I absolutely love your hair!!! I had a buzzcut two years ago and i’ve had it that length but you pull it off well, i looked like a boy 😂 glad it’s past my shoulders now

it looks amazing on you! love it! i tried it in my grown out pixie, but it looked horrible on me. My hair really looks like i have a mullet growning away from under my hair. Eveything looks fine, except for the mullet bit on the back and underside of my hair, but i really dont know how to fix that
I use bobby pins on my mullet if that helps at all, I just twist the hair as much as I can and pin it. I hate the mullet too!
@annascott3542
3 жыл бұрын
Be careful twisting hair and setting it in a style, it can cause problems in your growth pattern on your scalp !! Learned this the hard way which is why I’m researching pixie cuts
I wish I knew how to not feel bored with my hair. It's a dark-ish brown color. I can't afford to get it bleached or anything and black wouldn't suit me. I have always had a long hair until recently when I chopped it to shoulder lenght. I think I will cut it even shorter
Thank you for this video. I was on the brink of just wearing a bag over my head.
Thankyou. I am currently growing out a short pixie cut. I WISH my hair would go back (like yours), but it just grows forward/down. I am hoping when my bangs get longer I can slick them back. Name of the volume powder you use again? Any other tips for growing out hair? Training hair to stay back? It's so frustrating mine is just very straight and fine and blah.
Have you ever seen the osis dust used in dark hair? Most powder products I put in my hair make it look ashy where I've applied it and doesn't blend in well. The product looks amazing and I would love to try it. Or if you have any tips on how to make sure it doesn't leave the ashy appearance. 💗

My hair is black , it’s the same texture as yours but wouldn’t the dust leave a um a dusty look on my hair ..? Since it’s black it would be obvious for it to show ?
You might get this a lot, but I think you look a lot like Freya Allen (Ciri from the Witcher)! I love your hair and this is really helpful, thanks!

Where do you plan take your hairstyle? I've grown my pixy into a short mullet, but I'm not sure where I should go from here. I'm *not* a bob girl. I like edgy, messy styles.
@katjames7601

You could do a chopped bob or a medium shag.
Really cool look, reminds me of Brigitte Nielsen back in the day....I have very thick hair, but with fine texture; I cut my long hair into a bob, but I'm looking to go shorter...may take your vid to my stylist to see if I can get this look...thanks for the inspiration!
I can’t tame my hair haha, it constantly falls in front of my face and it’s really thick so It usually doesn’t stay back no matter how much product I put in it. I’m growing it out and it’s kind like a bowl cut rn (not flattering) and I have no clue how to style it. It’s not long enough for a little bun on top but not short enough to just blow dry to the side. Haha if anyone has some advice I’ll gladly take it.

try blow drying in sections, going from the far back to the front. after blow drying, tease the whole top and back, spraying little amounts of hairspray into the layers. leave the piece right above your forehead relatively smooth. then tip over everything (that's supposed to kinda stand up by now) so it falls to the back. on the edge from smooth sides to slicked back top you can sneak in some bobby pins and spray stuff in place. after some time you can try taking the pins out and see if it holds.
1. Wash & Condition Hair 2. Sea Salt Spray 3. Blowdry with Round brush Big S3xy hair volume roost boost powder Though for sensitive scalp, I’d advise against that stuff. I used to use it at work sometimes (I’m a pro stylist) and it can really mess up ur hair/scalp if you use it too much. After a lot of product, be sure to clarify and deep condition!:)
I hated the mullet part too, where it sticks out outwards. i ended up cutting it off until the rest of my hair reached that lenght
