Girlfriend...no edits needed!! Stay real! You're adorable. Spend your time learning something else. "This" friend enjoys ALL of the adventures you share. What makes me smile about growing old? Retirement savings withdrawals without penalty, baby! Woohoo! lol. You know my current situation. All of the adventures i want to enjoy are on hold for an undetermined amount of time. I often think...will i be too old and not in shape anymore by the time i can finally start checking off bucket list adventures? Like...hiking the caminos in Spain and France, checking out every far reaching corner of NV's state parks, watching icebergs float past the shores of New Foundland, or digging for diamonds in AR's Crater of Diamonds State Park. Then I think of you. You inspire me every day, my friend. Love you to pieces! Keep on sharing "real" stuff!.💞

Thanks for your kind words. I don't think too much about my age until I look in the mirror. Sometimes I'm surprised to see that there is an old woman looking back at me. be well.

I love how well I know myself, how much autonomy I have (kids grown, career settled, learned to say “no”), how much less I care what other people think, how much easier it is for me to see vulnerable humanity in other people (even those I don’t much like or who think differently from me). I am loving being able to do what I want for myself more often🎉

Learning to say "No" is a struggle for many of us. I'm glad that you've accomplished this. It is vital.

Love your curiosity and positivity! I’m aging quickly for my age, I think from stress, genetics and autoimmune disease. Something that makes me smile about growing old would be seeing the younger generations trying so desperately to figure life out and get established in careers, family, etc. It would be nice to be on the other side of that and be able to enjoy life more.

Stress will age us quickly. Finding ways to reduce our stress is very important and not always easy at first glance.

Nice - I'll look for your other videos. What makes me smile about growing old? When I take my hiking stick into the local post office and a young person thinks it is a cane and wants to open the door for me.

I miss my youth. I'm 76. I watch my body changing and it seems to be happening fast. My hair is falling out. I'm recently diagnosed with Afib. Having a heart arrhythmia can mess with your head and bring depression. Today I'm 3wks post bladder neck suspension surgery and still healing from that. I grew up in the 1960's in So Cal near the beach. We had the best music, and it was a great time in this country to be young. I look around now and see the breakdown of society and the mess this administration has made at our southern border. I worry for the future on my grandchildren. What I appreciate at this time of my life, besides my family, is Mother Nature. Our beautiful planet and all the animals, the flora and fauna... etc. I appreciate everything in nature so much at this age. Growing old is a privilege that not everyone gets to have. So I'm very much aware and thankful for my life. But at the same time, I look back and relive the memories I cherish and I miss being young. My mother once said that life is like a dream. I think that's true. Good luck with your endeavor
