Hi Everyone! And welcome to my Oxfordshire village allotment, UK. In this video i go through what I've learned this year about growing celery and celeriac from seed and I've made a time lapse of me planting out seedlings 👍👍
It was trickier than i thought growing celery and celeriac from seed, but I believe I've cracked it! Why don't you have a go next year 😁

About: I'm originally from Sweden but have lived in the United Kingdom since 2005. I have been using my allotment and became an allotmenteer since 2018 and love to share everything i have learned about growing my own produce and seasonal food and general organic gardening with you, my green fingered friends! That was useful iVe never grown either before. Celery is on my to do list for next year. So the celery is planted like leeks then really.

More or less! Should be quicker to harvest them leeks 😂 nothing slower is there! Or maybe asparagus 😆
I need to plant out my celery this weekend too! I don't want it sulking!

🙌 I love celeriac i stews and celery in almost any pasta dish 👍
Can't find answer for this: are celery and celeriac different plants? Some say they are, but the stalk is called celery and root is called celeriac. Apparently that's wrong. They have different seeds. Now, assuming they are different plants, would celery have bit root too?

They are related but different, no root bulb on celery and no thick juicy stalks on celeriac
