24 hour drip no matter the time of year unless you see to much yellowing. We have avacodo in direct sun . Wind is a worry when young. Keep up the good work.

I used your soil mix ingredients for planting my 15 gal "Sir Prize" last summer. Within 2 weeks, the tree flushed and again in the Fall. This year, the tree went gangbuster and had like 100X more foliage than my neighbor 7 year old avocado tree on the ground. The picture below are taken July 2016. Now it starting to put out new flush. If you need budwood, let me know. Free for you bro. postimg.org/image/ji81p4x5n/?t=suggested postimg.org/image/k467cq6zf/

Hey jake. I have seen a lot of videos and i dont remember seeing a pawpaw . I am sure you've seen/heard about them at least once. Any reason you havent incorporated these in as well. I had a chance to try some at a pawpaw festival we had recently in NC and it was a blend of a bunch of "tropical tree fruit" in my opinion and it grows natively here. It got me pretty excited about them because I have 30 ft tall ones growing in the creek behind my house. I bought a few named cultivars and am going to attempt to do some grafting. The pawpaws need shade the first few years but after that maintenance free, im sure they would love your yard. After tasting them I cant wait to grow my own. One other tree im going in blind on is the american persimmon, i got a few named varieties. Hope they are just as good as the pawpaw.

Hey Jake, I'm following your videos for some time now and as I know your Aravaipa Avocados are grafted right? The one by the pond is multi trunk how is that are both "trunks" aravaipa or one is different? Both trunks come from the grafting union? Hope you understand my issue. Good day!

Hey Jake, great channel. I have an etenger avocado tree in Israel about 10 years old. I transplanted it about 2 years ago from a container where it lived for 8 years. 1st year in the ground the leaves fell off and no flowers. 2nd year all leave grew back real nice, and got 100's of flowers most turned into small fruit, however only about 6 avocados made it. They were large and very tasty. How can I keep more fruits on the tree?

howdy there I live in East Tennessee and I have a couple of Garden Towers and I wanted to move them so I'd assembled them piece by piece and low behold I found an avocado stem growing from a seed that I had just dropped in there from the year before anyway the seed has two stems coming from it so now I have taken it and planted it outside and I have trimmed it back because this area will be too cold probably to grow it but I'm going to try anyway and then also I found another avocado seed sprout in some containers that I had on my porch so I planted that went to I hope it works

So I’m in Glendale AZ and as you know most of our yards have that red clay type of dirt. Did you plant the trees directly into the red clay or did you pour like organic dirt down first?

I know this is an old video but I'm hoping you might have some input... I NEED to get one of these, I might see if I can get one shipped to me in Vegas, if not hopefully when I am in town in March I can get my hands on one... Anyhow, my question is, what would you recommend growing around this tree? And, I have a location in mind, east side of my house, shelter from afternoon light, so shelter from crazy winds but there are large pines to the south so it blocks most of the light in the winter months, will this be a problem? Thanks a ton! love your videos, can't get enough!

Hey, just found your channel. I'm starting a food forest; the first in our area. I live in AZ, too (zone 9a/10b), but it gets even hotter (up to 135° in the 14 years I've been here, 127° routinely) here than PHX. I've been told by the Master Gardeners and nursery owners/employees in the area that avocado can't grow here. Water won't an issue for perennials after the first few years as were quite close to the river with a 25" water table, but we do have single digit humidity & strong winds routinely. Do you think the Aravipa variety would survive our hellish summers?

Hi I have a 3 ft tall Stwart avocado tree I just panted. I looked a several videos on avocado tress and I see some are under 6 ft tall and have fruit, And I see some like your tall one over 10 ft and also your other and no avocados at all/ Why is this? Also one video I saw mentioned you need a type a and type b tree. That you need to have two to get fruit. Do you know about this cuss it makes no sence to me. Your mini farm looks great and I like your fish pond too. In mesa hoping to grow a little.

Find your weight (x), divide that number by 1/2 or 0.5, then make sure the number of grams of protein you take in daily reaches that number. If you consider yourself really out of shape then reduce the protein minimum to x/0.3^- and continue for a few months or until you think your hard work has made you ready. If you're having trouble meeting that bar, consider taking vegan protein supplements. Make sure to get enough calories a every day and Get most of those calories from carbohydrates. Stay hydrated all the time. Do around 1-1/2 hours of upper body strenuous exercise on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, along with around 3-4 hours of normal full body exercise. Do around 1-1/2 hours of lower body strenuous exercise on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, along with around 3-4 hours of normal full body exercise. Obviously, you should have day of rest on the Sabbath be it to simply recharge or to praise the Lord, I'm not here to direct your theology. But more importantly, you should let your body rest for a day. (I use Sunday as a day to keep on top of my flexibility and get some nice stretches in.) Keep in mind that these instructions have only worked out for me, and that your body is different from mine but I still believe that you have potential. Also keep in mind, that this diet and exercise plan won't put you on the cover of "Sports Illustrated", as in, it won't make you as buff as steroids will, but it will get you to an even balance of 20% body fat - 80% muscle, and make you into a lean beast. I'm sorry this isn't Jake's response but I doubt he knows this is here. Hope this helps a little :)
