I stay in Ahmedabad which has hot climate.

Hello sir, we have recently moved into a new house that has an attached small terrace. Terrace has a 2 feet deep soil bed, where I would like to get some inputs from you on what and how I can start planting. I stay in pune, please suggest flowering plants as well as some fruits & vegetables plant that has soft roots and can be grown on terrace directly. The landlor doesn't want us to grow any big trees as the roots may penetrate below weakening the structure. Would advise would be highly appreciated and valued. So looking forward to it. U can suggest a few for winter months and then Feb plan for all perennial ones
