I find the comment with „only real beauties can have short hair“ so stupid. Sorry no Offenes to you or your friend but men on this planet wear short hair as the most normal thing and they have all kinds of different face shapes, just like women have but no one questions the men’s „right face shape/face“ for short hair. All of a sudden with women there should exist something like the perfekt face for short hair ? I find that very controversial

It's not all of a sudden, women have been studying their face shapes to decide the perfect hairstyle forever. It's nothing new. The OP was complimenting her saying she has the perfect face shape for the pixie cut she had bc not every woman thinks she does have the right face, or can wear a pixie.

I started growing out an accidental buzzcut some monthes ago and once it got close to entering that mullet stage I went at the outer edges with my barber's clippers without touching the length in the crown for a basic boycut instead of struggling with the mullet which only manages to get horribly knotted up in the back on me.

It was really nice to see you acknowledge the small things that hurt a lot when you lose weight. I didn't suffer from an eating disorder but I basically barely ate for around six months for stress reasons. And the weight loss alone was shocking but the little things like hair loss hurt a lot. It makes me hopeful to see your hair is healthy again :) I'm gonna cut mine soon but luckily I like short hair (healthy hair is my favorite though)

I found out that I had cancer this year and impulsively chopped my hair too. I think it was a control thing and I didn't even lose hair from chemo. Then I felt like I was getting a mullet and tried to cut back and did it too short, then needed back buzzed. Now I am trying to grow it out.

Thank you so much for this video, I am now in the process of growing a pixie and I really feel a lot better about it, it is amazing how you look back and have a laugh about the whole situation! You looked amazing in every stage, you even rocked the mullet! I had to have my hair cut after it got massively damaged after bleaching it at the salon... and now I just can't wait to grow it into a long pixie or a short bob. Thank you so much for giving me a perspective about it, it is by far the best "pixie cut grow out" video I've seen.

I actually struggled with hair loss for a while as well. No idea how I was losing it, and to this day still dont know how, but the second I chopped it the hair then fixed itself. Treat yo' ends right people!

I’m in the process of growing back my natural hair color! You’re inspiring me but god 2 yrs is a long time 😁 what to do.. need to be patient! Also I started using rice water, argan oil etc. the history of my hair is horrific! Now at the age of 28 I finally got smart and decided to start from zero! I stopped dying my dark blonde hair to black in October. I had ass length hair and chopped it into a bob. Getting a pixie to get the remaining dye off on Friday!

I just did the same thing cutting my hair myself around the same length initially and then going to hairdresser after hairdresser to fix until there was nothing left but the pixie boy cut

Hello, I'm new here and I am so proud for your brave consideration to cut your hair! Your face really suited every hairstyle you've had throughout the journey, and yes dyes are never perfect:/ I can confirm this as a boy lol

I had a pixie cut almost 2 years ago and I hated it so I grew it out and I love it now, but now I'm starting to think the only reason I didn't like it was because I got the wrong style and now I don't know what to do but I just wanted to say I really liked your pixie cut style I think I might cut my hair like that!

If you ever want to get a cut/ style but also want to be able to throw up in a ponytail, look into inverted a-line styles (I think that's what it's called) longer in the front and tapered off to the back. It allows to be able to still make a ponytail

being an inch or 2 shorter in the front is not a mullet and it was really cute honestly it just looks like some face framing. when pixies grow out people get so hung up on needing to even out the hair having it one length or shorter in the back. But my hair is getting to that "awkward" stage right now where the back is growing out and the fronts trying to play catch up and its starting to remind me of winona ryder in reality bites a hair cut that ive always loved and admired very 90s which is my style so im going with it and its becoming one of my favorite hairstyles ive ever had. @@kristacalai9773just got to learn how to style clips, bobby pins headbands and hats are your friend. ive never done fingerwaves but another super cute style. if u get to the mullet stage mini pig tails or pony are cute and bobby pin any hair left out in the front. get inspired by pinterest, celebs that have rocked short hair before. products i like are got 2b scupting paste kenra texturizing taffy big sexy hair powder play Eva Nyc zero gravity volume powder. You can also get a mini flat iron mine is from Dry Bar to add curls or flip out hair. Also if you ever just miss long hair Shein has wigs for cheap less than 20. But I will just say its a journey embrace the process and grow more than just hair out of it...

i can't get over the fact that you were so calm cutting your hair instead of slapping your mouth and yelling OH MY GOD every obnoxious minute

I cut my hair like 3 days ago and I so regret it. Its strong and healthy but my hair flicks out soo much at the end bits. Luckily I'm not going to school for like a month because of covid. So hopefully it will grow fast. I don't put hardly anything in my hair except a little bit of colour

I got a proper bob cut this January, since we Asians get pure black hair with frizzy texture, I got them straightened then got it dyed to copper blonde with coffee highlights(for the first time). It pretty looked good & there were guys crushing over me & my haircut xD till it was April I got influenced by Kristen Stewart's pixie cuts & pinterest models :) When I decided to go to the salon and got them chopped off on my wish without even letting my parents know about it. It's been just a week now & regret about it already:") , my parents are mad at me & I couldn't confront my dad since then. I spent some 5k on my entire bob look & my I chopped it off at one go within just 3 months *sigh 😔 Now I really wan my hair back and am looking for YT vdos as of how could I grow then longer , transformation videos, Brad reacting to haircut videos, blah & here I'm :) I totally love your video tbh , I hope I get my hair back real soon, * crying*.

Lovely video... It sounds like altho u wasn't sure about ur pixi cut I think its done u really good.. Its pushed u to be out ur comfort zone when u had longhair to hide behind.. And as u have said u really appreciate ur long hair now... Me I shaved my hair off fully just because I felt like it.. And I have really enjoyed it 6 mo this later I've still not even trimmed mine.. I also had EDs and waist length hair! Then I started bleaching my hair to go pink! Then I cut all my hair off to a bob because of the damage and having a mental breakdown lol it’s a small world I guess. I shaved all my hair off bald on January 27th 2021 and now it is the end of June. My hair is about 2.5 inches long and it’s going to the bulky mullet phase. It’s hard to style it and the top is just too bulky to look nice. I loved having a very short pixie and it is so tempting to just get it cut off again! I also keep wanting to dye it pretty colors but I think I should only bleach it if I’m keeping it short. 😬😬😬 I shaved my head because I thought it would be freeing and I guess it sort of was but it just isn’t wasn’t really worth it. I wish I would have just tried a pixie instead of going totally bald.

It was naturally very thick but these days whenever I wash my hair, I lose a lot lot of hair. I’m scared to wait a long time to get it to shoulder length. So please as someone who has went through this shaving hair process, can you please consider my situation and tell me if I should shave my head or just grow it out without shaving? I really hope you can help me plsss 🥺 do you think my hair would grow back out a lot stronger if I had shaved it?

Just do what feels right for you! And if you decide to take the plunge - remember it grows back quicker than you realise! But again, no rush to make any decisions if its causing you anxiety💛

8:30 - Its kind of sad that we do drastic things like chopping off our hair when we're depressed or frustrated. I've done it and then regretted it quite a few times. You just have to tell yourself you'll feel better soon and will be glad you didn't cut it.

I loved this video

ive had a pixe for about a year now and i just want my long hair back right now. but i am the most impatient person ever and i dont wanna go through the awkward stages cause im still in secondary school and im not trying to go to school looking like an idiot when it get to those stages. also, i olny re cut it a month ago and im already getting a kind of mulet, my hair grows pretty fast i guess but i dont know.

How long did it take to get from the chin bob to what is in the video?

My hair is my confidence. I always feel that it's the only thing that makes me 'pretty'. I never let anyone near it. It's down to my hips and had natural blonde highlights, golden overall. It's strange because I always wear my hair up in a bun so no-one actually knows that it is as long as it is. Honestly I don't think I could ever cut it. Trims I don't mind, but cut, no. You look so beautiful with short hair (you looked beautiful with long hair too). Seeing this video really sparked some confidence in me, maybe not enough for me to get the scissors out and go for it! But defiantly made me feel a lot happier with how I look. Thank you so much!

I have a similar hair story to yours. I had a REALLY short pixie cut (a tad shorter than yours) on and off for nearly 8 years and I also didn't know how to style it! It always had a mind of its own 😆 Is your hair its natural colour now?
